I am interested in hearing all your thoughts about greedy fat cells and energy efficient ones. It's possible I have greedy fat cells which is why sugar/carbs effect me differently. Just thought I would throw that out there.

It very well can be toxic if you eat too much, so why not just cut it out? I get my required sugars from fruit and other things. I think its a choice we should all make. And if not then just limit it greatly.

That's why I try not to listen to half the stuff on here. I thought I would get some good advice .. and some of them did post useful information. But to say sugar is not toxic like high fructose cron syrup is calling almost every doctor a liar. Yah Im gonna believe you guys over the doctors :0

Modified sugar is toxic, carbohydrates that turn into sugar..not so much.

I usually think back to how bad I felt the last time I ate something I didn't feel good about. I also think about how far I have come, and what those foods really do to our bodies. After all of that I usually just forget about it and move on.

It's true. It doesn't make you gain weight per say, unless you eat way over your calories. But specifically speaking of high fructose corn syrup and refined sugars are not good for our blood vessels. It's not the healthiest thing you can eat.

I drink tons of water, what about not drinking that same amount for a couple of days? Or same with greens? 2 days out of this week I only had 2 servings instead of 3-4. Just trying to figure it out. I know eating lots of greens or veggies helps with flushing excess things out of your body which aids in weight loss correct?…

I know about weight gain from water retention- sodium ,menstrual cycles, stress, and exercise. I haven't done anything mentioned above to disrupt the flow. Silly idea. I get it. lol

I knew someone would say that. And of course we can speculate many variables. But doesn't it make sense? Since I cut out sugar completely. Shocking the system maybe? I don't know. That's why I posted here.

:) thanks...Actually before he was eating like once a day ... :P I dont know how he did it..force of habit I guess. I used to eat only 2 times a day before I changed my lifestyle! Ill get him to eat 1000 more calories, or just refer him to a dietician!

I dont know, a dietician I guess..I know about how to eat healthy but lacking in the knowledge about carbohydrates! So far he eats a balanced diet, but hes 1000 calories short lol..
