  • I can tell how tired I was yesterday. I couldn't think strait. Hubby's schedule and a bad day for the toddler and I couldn't get things together. I thought I had put the "Her 3rd since 2008. Since I had Alexander, I haven't been able to get pregnant again, and it upsets me," after the part about blocking the friends post.…
  • I gave up having a child in 2009, March to be exact. The doctor told me I would have to lose over a hundred pounds before they would try me on Clomid. I got pregnant the next month. Her 3rd since 2008. Since I had Alexander, I haven't been able to get pregnant again, and it upsets me. I've had to block one of my pregnant…
  • I have ovulation problems and my hubby has Low T. We conceived our son, even though my husband's drive is not that great.
  • I had my son when I was 34, a month after I turned 34 to be exact. We had totally given up. I prayed and gave it over to God. It's been 3 years. I'm really at the point were I've given up again. I'm pushing another appointment to September to talk about Clomid. But right now, I'm leaving it to God.
  • I find that if you do snack size of anything, it helps. I have the best results when I stick to 45 carbs each for meals, and 15 carbs each for 3 snacks during the day. It does get easier.
  • Welcome to the group. My doctor told me that Metformin helps with the milk problem with PCOS. I was abundant with milk, but I was on Zoloft at that time, so I couldn't breastfeed. But I've been off of it for 2 1/2 years now and am TTC and will breastfeed this time. Keep faith.
  • Chickpea, it's a lot better than the side effects of not having a period. If you go over 90 days and not pregnant it can set up possibility of uterine cancer.
  • There are days that I hurt, but I have learned that it can get better. Make sure you take the precautions for not having a miscarriage. I don't know if they have you on Metformin, but I know they have found that it helps with not having a miscarriage. We are discussing a second one more seriously and it's a hard journey.…
  • I've taken it several times before I got pregnant with my son, and a few times after I had him. The OB/GYN advised me that if I went over 90 days without a TOM, that cancer can set up. No big side effects here. It's no worse than when you ovulate and are in Luteal Phase waiting for a positive pregnancy test of your TOM.
  • I cry about it and pray. I cry about how hard it is for me to get pregnant. I pray to heal my heart. I think it hits me the hardest when people that are simple minded get pregnant over and over again.
  • I've been doing BBT since the end of 2007 beginning of 2008. Even with that I never noticed I was pregnant, because I glanced over everything cause my cycles were crazy. But they certainly help.
  • Before I ovulate my breasts start getting tender, and get worse afterwards. It's part of the PCOS, because it makes the time after ovulation ramp up. I've found that my body acts more pregnant with that time period, than it did when I was actually pregnant.
  • I'm so sorry to see that you had all that going on. I do have a question? Did they put you on Metformin? They say that it helps to prevent miscarriages. Praying for you.
  • I was diagnosed in 2006, but knew I had PCOS before then. In 2009, with only taking my Metformin and 300 pounds, I conceived my son, who is now 2 and nicknamed "The Captor." He's brilliant and fun. It can happen, just have faith.
  • Do you use FertilityFriend.com? Get a free account, input your temps and it will help you pinpoint the date of ovulation.
  • Eating under 1000 calories. So unhealthy. I'm trying to stay healthy. I pretty much lost a lot of my friends when I took a break from MFP during the summer, and most deleted me.
  • Sounds like you're in the middle of your body trying to ovulate.
  • There isn't a clear ovulation shift. Temps rise point 4 degrees and stay higher than the previous 6 temps to confirm ovulation has happened. By the time this shift confirmation happens it's to late to get pregnant. There is ovulation bleeding. How has your mucus been?
  • Brown means old blood. It would be easier to figure out what is going on if we had a range of temps to confirm if there was ovulation. I know I start spotting the day before I start my TOM.

  • I'm in. I'm in a wedding in April so I need to get extra serious. I don't want to look like a beached whale, even if I get pregnant before the wedding.
  • Welcome! Another Tennessee'r here. This is a great place to be positive and get support.
  • Ask them if you should be on Metformin to keep the pregnancy. Test studies show that it helps keep a pregnancy for a PCOS'er. Also ask if you need to have a stitch put in to help the bleed. A friend of mine had to have that done. I'll also pray for you.
  • It was horrible. 30 carbs for breakfast, 15 carbs snack, 30 carbs for lunch, 15 carbs snack, 30 carbs dinner, 15 carbs snack. That was the maximum I could have a day and that way only. I also had to pair a protein with my carbs so my body would process it right. It was hard, and my hubby says I got evil on it.
  • Be careful on that "im just gonna eat when hungry etc," because they tested me early, because PCOS women have a higher tendency to get Gestational Diabetes. I was on the Gestational Diabetes diet my whole pregnancy and I could only eat so much a day. It was the worst diet I had ever been on.
  • I also had very irregular periods until I started losing weight. Mine are now about 30 to 34 day cycles now.
  • I actually do Natural Family Planning, which is a science of this stuff. If you are 30 minutes over your earliest wake up time you are required to minus .10 degrees for each 30 minutes late, if waking up earlier than usual, then plus .10 degrees. It works. I do the Symptom Thermal Mucus method, and it cross checks…
  • By the temps, you haven't ovulated yet. Just to let you know.
  • I've been doing it for almost 5 years. You're temps are kinda out there. Are you temping at the same time each day. Join this site to input your temps in, it will help you estimate when you have ovulated. I use the advanced charting on it, but it is free to get the basic tracking help. It also helps you learn about…
