English muffin with jelly or peanut butter, turkey bacon, one or two eggs with additional egg whites, and fruit. (and coffee, duh)

Weight loss was the initial benefit for me! and no more caffeine headaches.

Think of it more as a "treat" and not a "cheat on your diet". The mindset really helps. Diets are temporary; this should be a lifestyle, not a diet. To answer your question, eat your normal goal.

I choose to not eat back my exercise calories because I want the exercise to add to my deficit. I do, however, go over some days and use those extra calories as "padding", if you will, and I'm okay with that. So, it's a personal preference. If you are exercising solely to lose weight, I recommend not eating back the cals.

thank you! I've lost 15 lbs so far.

I usually have snacks to avoid binging, and that's what helps me. But if this isn't the case for you, great, go for it!
-
Thank you! I have about 80 lbs or so to lose. :P

Turkey burger (no bun), chicken tacos on wheat tortillas with salsa, grilled chicken salad with lots of fruits and veggies.

I've got 32 lbs to 199!

Today for lunch I had a subway sandwich piled with lettuce and spinach (which I normally don't eat), and the rest of the day has been healthy as well!:)

LOL! That's it, I forgot to read the fine print... "after completion of the 30-day diet, you're free to eat anything and everything you want. Just chop off both arms and you are forever 40 lbs lighter!"
-
hahaha
-
Well, that's not necessarily true. Besides, OP said they could not do cardio. I think pilates would be beneficial to him or her.

Like others are saying, I usually have to add stuff to mine to make it last. (nuts, fruit, seeds, etc.)
-
this too.

"What's the point?" The point is it will improve your health and most likely lengthen your life. It's important! and you want it, right? You can do it!! Make the efforts that you can and they will pay off.

I've been in your situation. For me, it's best to keep water around and sip all day, as well as bring healthy snacks (which it seems like you're doing). If veggies aren't cutting it for you, try something else. Also, don't go into work hungry. Ever. lol.

Thanks all!

It's really easy for me to get into trouble in a restaurant setting, so I just try make the best choice I can, and to eat slowly, drink a lot of water, and focus on the people I'm with more than the food.
-
I usually go to the same places, so I'm familiar with the menu. If not, I try to look it up ahead of time. Most restaurants have grilled chicken. You can ask for it alone, with a salad, or with a side of veggies/fruit of your choice, etc. If it's a place that serves breakfast, like Denny's for example, know that egg…

I'm no expert by any means, but I feel like this balances out. Some days you eat more, some days you eat less. If you're happy, staying full, etc. it's probably just fine.
-
Are you snacking? If you feel like you're getting full, and you're fueled for any workouts, you are fine. I wouldn't worry too much about the numbers!
-
bump! :)
-
I wouldn't recommend it. I don't think it'll jump start anything except for cravings when you're done.
-
Thank you. People can make fun all they want, but one looks ridiculous when he or she types "I really need to loose some more weight."
-
It's probably a combination of water weight (bloat) and fat. It's fine! I did the exact same thing, only it was 8 lbs.

Harry Fashina (fa-shine-uh). No joke.
