I'd like some friends also. I'm from Hertfordshire. Feel free to add me also

I'll go with the above person. I have a Polar FT4 and love it..... it encourages you to do that little bit more. If you have walked and burnt 253 calories, you seem to want to go that little bit further to get to 300 and the roller coaster goes on an on and on. Again like the above person, you don't wear it all day and yes…
-
Polar FT4 for me also and just also bought a Fitbit which links in with this site... love em both... especially the fitbit which is a pedometer/calorie counter but it doesn't do heart rate
-
Where you log your weight, you can change the settings there. Chose either Neck, Weight, Hips or Waist.

To all disappointed with losing their boobs... think how I feel.... I was only a 34A/B to start with and have lost more!!!! :-0 You can hardly tell my front from my back anymore :-(
-
Another one here also. I don't eat chocolate bars in ones and twos, I eat them in fours and fives!! The same with crisps!
-
The slimming world magazine often has a good curry receipe in it. Infact so many of the Slimming World receipes are fab... will try and remember to bring the mag to work and copy one out for you to try.
-
This has actually concerned me also... I do a lot of walking.. I walk my dogs for over an hour morning and evening, totalling 6-8 miles... I am then trying to run using the C25k, but struggling!! I wonder if my body is just too tired from the walking, hence I am finding the running challenge difficult!
-
me toooooo.... I blame my husband... he loves his nibbles, crisps, dips even veg to dip... but once I start, I just can't stop! Luckily for me I am on maintenance, but feel I binge all weekend and spend all week repairing the damage ready for the next onslaught!! Glad its not only me! :-)
-
I have reached maintenance and still using it... don't come on the forum so much but logging most of what I eat, other than bad days (of which there are toooo many!!). Feel I have been institutionalised with it!!!
-
Mine does. Exactly 2lb every night... unless I have been very bad and eaten something very bad quite late at night!!
-
and me.. feel free to add me.... I am sort of maintaining at the moment, but not very well, so generally still up for a loss!
-
I am incredibly weak then!!
-
I don't think a month is going to make that much difference in your dress... Realistically we aim to lose one pound a week, so you are only talking four pounds surely??? Better to be safe than sorry though and perhaps work on maintaining rather than losing anymore. I got married 6 weeks ago and did suddenly lose 5lbs…

Polar FT4 for me and I love it..!

I had indian last night... 2 Poppadoms 1 Chicken Biryani with Vegetable Curry Spinach side dish (can't remember the indian name for it) and a 1/4 of a chilli naan.... Weight this morning, up a pound :-) and the plus, I only ate half of it all, so brought it home and got the rest tonight :-)

Got to say, I am right with you. I have not reduced the exercise as most of mine was dog walking... at least 2 hours a day and I did the C25K which was great and I am not about to stop running just because I have hit my target weight, but am finding it hard to adjust to eating more and not sure how much more to actually be…

Runkeeper is pretty accurate. I have used that with my HRM in place and they are about the same for calorie burn, give or take 10/15 calories! As long as you have loaded your height and weight accurately, they should be. I tend to burn about 100 per mile....
-
Go for it.... quit I quit smoking 18th June 2007 and its the best thing I ever did... during the following July/August/September/October, my dog died, I filed for divorce, sold my house and moved and STILL didn't start again and if I can do it... anybody can.... Good luck... you won't regret it! and remember... that first…
-
Take it on the chin.... its only 2lbs after all!
-
I bought a FT4 as well and love it... cheaper than the FT7 and does everything I need!
-
Urm, are we related?? You could be talking about me.... its hard, very hard.... I have been anorexic and bulemic, no lets talk past tense, I WAS anorexic and bulemic for many years, 15 or so? Reason, an unhappy marriage, violent husband, low, very low self esteem, to the point I absolutely hated myself... but you can move…
-
Well done.... and I bet it wasn't as hard as you thought. I need to start week 8, but never enough hours in the day... going to end up back tracking back to Week 6 I think!
-
and before long you will be totally addicted!!
-
I have and I log it as Aerobics general. I have a HRM so i log however minutes make up the amount of calories I have burnt...
-
Its so hard isn't it.... We had a Dominoes Pizza Saturday night. We had spent Friday night doing a 12 hr night hike so by Saturday evening there was no way I felt like cooking, so Pizza it was.... Got another 1.5lb to lose before I can start on this week's weight loss.... Is it worth it..?? And curry for me is the worse...…

I have two spaniels that like to run with me, and being spaniels will still be running when I have collapsed and died!!! More of a walker myself and they walk for anything up to 30 miles at a time with me/us.... and they love it...
-
I have the FT4.. does what I need... How long I have exercised, how many calories burnt, how long I was in the 'zone' and heart rate, all of which you can flip through whilst you train... wouldn't have any other HRM now, apart from one with Sat Nav as I do a lot of long distance walking!
-
I include it... and have lost 25 pounds doing it. My general life style is sedentary and having two young spaniels, my walks are far from short and uninteresting!!! They get 90 minutes in the morning and at least 2 hours at night, which doesn't give me much time for other exercise. I make sure I walk with a good posture…

My cravings come at 3 - 3.30 pm... just that point in the afternoon that you feel sleepy!!! I tend to suck a boiled sweet... not only can a sweet last for 15 or so minutes, but it gives me the sugar hit I am craving and at about 30 calories so a cheap treat really!
