  • A mild soreness isn't usually an indicator of bad form. You would feel it pulling in your back when you are lifting if you are doing it incorrectly. Another thought may be that your weight is too high. Sometimes that can throw off your form without realizing it.
  • Welcome!!! I have been using MFP since January, fell of the wagon for a little while, but back at it again!! I have about 80-100 pounds to lose.
  • Oh yeah, and she knows anyway because she was someone that I was close to when I first got out of the relationship with him.
  • This all resonates with me so much. When I was younger, I became really obsessive about staying on point all the time and if I "fell off" I would let myself completely derail and give up. I was putting so much pressure on myself to be perfect that I would self-sabotage just to get some relief. Fast-forward to today and…
  • I get just like that when it's my period. The whole week during that time of the month I barely go. Once it's over though usually everything catches up like it should. However, during that time and when I'm feeling backed up, I have an apple cider vinegar drink and that cleans everything right out. It's 1-2 tablespoons of…
  • GOOD LUCK!! I ordered the same Ozeri one just now, so hopefully it works well for both of us! :) Thank you for the recommendation.
  • I use Amazing Grass Amazing Meal which has rice and hemp protein in it. I use the Pomegranate Mango one, but the Cafe Mocha is quite tasty as well.
  • It's up to you what day is best, but for me that is Saturday morning. Wear minimal clothing, first thing in the morning after going to the bathroom and before eating anything. Also don't weigh yourself more than once a week, unless you want to make yourself crazy with fluctuations that happen all the time due to water…
  • Yogurt, Almond Milk with 5x protein, lentils, eggs, Amazing Meal by Amazing Grass (vegan protein/greens mix), cheese...that's usually what I use outside of the normal meats and fish.
  • Great success and inspiration to me!
  • Hey there!! I'm 29 with about 100 pounds to lose! I always love new friends, I believe this process is much easier with friendly support!
  • I have PCOS which causes insulin resistance and in turn can cause hypoglycemia episodes. I will tell you my experience with it has been like this...if I go several days eating very heavily on white flour based carbs..like bread or pasta, my insulin resistance goes crazy and that's when the hypoglycemia kicks in. I will go…
  • Thank you, everyone! You've all given me some great info!
  • I usually just say "oh, yeah? Well what I'm doing is working for me, but I'll keep that in mind." That way you're not being totally rude, but it gets the point across you're not really interested. Unfortunately weight loss comes with all the people that believe they're an expert from reading things on the internet and info…
  • I don't know much about the pills you have described, other than xanax which being an anti-anxiety pill all it does is calm you down and if anything make you tired, not energetic.
  • Hi! I just turned 29 last week, not married, but have been with my boyfriend for almost five years. No babies, just two cats named Bandit and Dan. I would love to make some new friends!
  • 4-5 (16.9oz) bottles, plus a couple cups of coffee, a day. I have kidney stones so I try to keep my water intake high all the time. I love water though so it's easy for me to consume that amount.
  • I love breakfast! I always have different breakfast kicks, but right now my breakfasts have been consisting of: 3 boiled egg white 3 cherry tomatoes (halved) 1 orange coffee 8oz almond milk Fills me up and keeps me going for a good amount of time!
  • Here to lose 100 pounds! Today marks the end of my first week on MFP and I was down 3.6 pounds! :) Feel free to add me, love having friends on a similar journey!
  • Hi! I just turned 29 and I'm in the same boat as all of you. I have about 100 pounds to lose and have used MFP before but not enough to lose weight with it. Would love to have some motivating new friends! :)
  • Sauteed veggie pockets with provolone..delish!
  • I have the Polar FT4. I bought it because it was tech-y enough that it keeps tracks of heart rate and calories and puts each workout into a separate file on the watch, but it wasn't overly expensive. Also this was the one model I found that I liked that came in pink/purple, which for me is important because I like my stuff…
  • I'm sorry but this made me LOL. This is something I would totally do too. I'm sorry it didn't work out well for you, but hopefully the mice appreciate it. :)
  • That sounds like heaven! I love the smell of ginger in anything. Very awesome idea!
  • That's awesome! Such a great idea and different take on rewards. I always wanted to try ziplining, but I've been over what the weight limit is for a long time. I also want to try rock wall climbing!
  • I had to Google what a tervis cup was..and I have to say they are really cool! I can see why you would make them a reward. My boyfriend often makes fun of me because I have a cup/mug obsession. I think these would be a great reward for me!
  • Congratulations on almost being in onederland!! I haven't seen that wonderful place for over ten years now. I can't wait to get back there again. I love all of your reward ideas, especially the make-up and organizer..that's right up my alley!
  • Thank you all so much!! I love that all of your ideas are different and this really helps me a lot! I have lots to work with to make my rewards list now. :)
  • I love the idea of a Vitamix blender! I was just looking at them and almost fall off the chair when I saw the price..that would be a great reward when I reach a certain goal!
