In need of motivating friends!

Hi. I am a 30 year old who has decided it is time to get serious about making changes. I am about 5’6 but am about 80 – 100 pounds overweight at around 240. My goal weight is between 135 and 150. This is my second “real” go round with MFP. I joined about 2 years ago and lost 15 pounds in about 2-3 months. Then I got a job where I sit all day, didn’t have time (or the inclination to log into MFP), and can be rather stressful at different times of the month. Which is a problem since I am a stress eater. This is something that I am working on. A good friend pointed out that “If it’s not hunger than food won’t fixit” which has a been a good motivator in staying away from food when stressed. I am now working on taking short walks or climbing stairs at work rather than reaching for food. Any other suggestions are greatly welcomed.

I know that MFP works since it has worked form me before. In addition to getting back into using MFP I am working with a personal trainer to actually get exercise and learn how to do them properly.

I would love to add friends that could help encourage me and that I could help encourage. Ideas on a better diet and at home exercises would be greatly appreciated. If interested in helping each other stay motived please add me!

Hi! I just turned 29 and I'm in the same boat as all of you. I have about 100 pounds to lose and have used MFP before but not enough to lose weight with it. Would love to have some motivating new friends! :)
