Maybe keep looking? I find it very odd that every gym in your town only offers female trainers. In every city I've ever lived in, male trainers far outnumber female trainers.

I do a cheat meal once a week, but it's more for my sanity than my diet.

Fage 0% and Chobani

Check out Title Nine. They test all their sports bras and they have some great ones.

I think the most important quality of a good trainer is that they help you get the results you are looking for. Everything else is secondary.

Sounds good!

I don't have a cheat "day", I have a cheat "meal". I eat whatever I want, enjoy it, and don't think about the calories.

I'm on 1200 calories a day and I have no problem with hunger or staying within my calorie budget as long as I eat lean protein and plenty of vegetables for my meals and snacks. If I eat processed foods like cereal bars, pretzels, and the like, I tend to feel hungry all day long. I do strength training 3 times a week for 30…

Flatout pizza with onions, peppers, mushrooms and crushed red chili peppers. And coffee.

Here's a fun site to check your HR on: http://www.practicefusion.com/research/olympics/ And here's a calculator: http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/healthtool-target-heart-rate-calculator

I haven't had any problem with hunger since I switched to a lower carb way of eating. (40% protein, 30% fat, 30% carbs) Eating lots of lean protein and vegetables has helped me lose weight and ward off hunger. Maybe experiment and see what works for you?

That's what I was thinking. Lyle McDonald wrote an interesting piece on Whooshes.

Bring healthy snack with you to work, so you won't get hungry. Temptation is hardest to resist when you are hungry.
-
If you know it's working, then why are you worried about the scale?

A low carb tortilla, reduced fat cheese, shrimp and pico de gallo. Delish!
-
"Irregardless" annoys me to no end.
-
That definitely sounds like a lot of hard work. Congrats on your weight loss!
-
Definitely going to try these this week. Thanks for posting the recipe!

I keep cut up vegetables and reduced fat cheese ready for snacking. The cheese helps keep me full and the vegetables keep it low calorie. Sugar free Jello or sugar free pudding snack cups are great for when I'm in the mood for something sweet. ( only 10-60 calories)

150, because my boobs and butt are gonna be big no matter what I do.

Ritter Dark chocolate, Jello sugar free chocolate pudding, a chocolate protein shake with a Tbls of Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa added to it, or some "No Pudge" chocolate brownies.

I got some great ideas from this thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/988339-post-your-grocery-list

I make a vegetarian Quinoa dish with caramelized onions, halved cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, salt & pepper, and a little tofu or feta cheese. It's delicious!

1200 calories a day has been working well for me. I feel great, I'm never hungry, I average 2 pounds lost per week and have been making some great strength gains at the gym.

I've tried it both ways and for me, I have to do my weights first. If I do cardio first, it really negatively affects my performance with weights. Plus, I turn into a total whiner during my lifting session, lol.

No device is going to be accurate if it is not used in the manner prescribed. Bodymedia is the most accurate device of it's kind for calculating calories burned and has published clinical trials that back up the manufacturer's claims. It's also the only device of it's kind to be certified by the FDA as a medical device.…

I agree. Using a Bodymedia Fit has really helped me with the whole "how many calories should I eat" thing. I had no idea that my calories burned changed so much from day to day.
