My husband was on POF. He saw that i looked at his profile. He recognized my profile pic on FB through our mutual friend. We started talking....we've been married for almost 5-years now!

Soooooo I'm the worst one to respond to this. Sleeved on 4/14/14, pregnant November 2014. I did end up having twins at 23w and 6d (so 4-months early), my son survived but my daughter did not (not trying to make anyone feel bad), but surgery was r/o as not being the issue of why I delivered early - the truth is no one…

I have no budget to be honest. I really only need something that'll accurately calculate my calories since I use my phone for everything else. It's why I feel a simple HRM would be the best however I am open to suggestions because live in MI where the weather is nice about 50-70% of the year.

Same here! I was just thinking about that today and was like what the heck is happening!

I finished it last year and was able to run on my own about 4 miles a day. This year after I gave birth I went back to the program, never finished and just ran my first 10k on Sunday the 27th and I ran all 6.21 miles and never looked back! I'm half tempted to run a half marathon next year :)

add me as well. I struggle and I really need to get a handle on the carbs!

My rant: I hate the fact that my body desires and requests me to eat at least 1800 calories a day if not more because of my PCOS or I don't lose. My dietician said it was fine because that's what my body was craving, but if I eat an extra carb my body throws it hands up in the air and says "screw it let's gain 2 pounds".…

please send me a request as well :)

I highly recommend using the C25K program. It was what worked best for me. Tomorrow, I'll go for a run, with my Endomondo set for 3.1 miles and will run until i hear it tell me i've met the milage requirement. so far I'm at about 37/38 minutes for three miles but at some point it will get faster!! good luck!!

I had considered the medication, but none of my doctors would do a script for it, however because i ended up being diagnosed with RA, it ended up with the gastric sleeve. wouldn't change it for the world, but for those who struggle to lose weight they will do all they can in order to at least lose something. for me i was…

I finished my program and today is the first day that I am running without it!

I have found with Metformin you need to take it with a milk base. I use to drink 8oz of milk with my metformin and it never bothered me after that.....without dairy i'd have all the issues everyone talked about. with a dairy/dairy like substance it doesn't touch anything.

Noppers. I just went on regular foods. They said I could do a lot of stuff, but most Sleeves tend to stay away from bread rice and other items which is fine by me, but i can have crackers!

First, find an amazing surgeon. Then schedule an appointment and go from there. The doctors billers and all their fun peeps will know what to do!

My recommendation is don't stress out about it. I'm a band to a sleeve girl and I was sleeved on 4/14 and I'm only down about 20lbs. I'm okay with that. I want my body to lose how it wants and because i have PCOS and RA it's a constant battle. If I only lose 50lbs and that's where my sleeve takes me too -- I'm okay with…

I know that I will be on a liquid diet for a while, I just found out that my body does not process fake sugars very much so crystal light is out --- any other suggestions? I'm okay with drinking regular water -- would green tea or ice tea be an okay solution? I like them plan w/o sugar :)

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a bandster. I have had the band since 8/2006, with a revision back to the band in 1/2010 due to severe acid reflux issues, a hiatal hernia and pneumonia (also thanks to my insurance company). I am now 4-years later and I'm having blockage, slow leakage, vomitting…

I have found through being on metformin for years, that when you take your medication, if you take it with a glass of milk it helps the side effects. When I first started taking it I was having the same issues as you, then I started taking it with a glass of milk and my side effects went away. I've taken it with water ==…
