  • Have you considered "running" in the pool? It's a good way to start.The chlorine doesn't wreck your hair because you aren't submerging.   • I ran the 8k Beat the Bridge. I ran the first 2 miles then walked/ran to the finish. It was sooo fun. I loved it. Haven't done this in 16 years. Very different from the stair climber. Thanks for starting this challenge I will definitely keep posting.

  • I ran 2 miles and walked one today. This is great considering I'm "running" the Beat the Bridge in Seattle on May 18th. It's an 8k to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The last time I ran this was 14 years ago and I weighed 123lbs. I'm 164 so it'll be a challenge, but I'm up for it. I've got to work my way…

  • Ditto., I agree with the comment about the eating disorder. I think the parenting fail is entering a 7-year-old in a competition that requires weight maintenance in the first place.
