I hear ya! I have been struggling with mild-moderate depression/anxiety issues the last couple years. Even though I've managed it, and have been in a better place now, stress will trigger it and I'm stuck. For example, an accident happened at work almost 4 weeks ago, and I was so affected by it (guilt, anxiety, stress,…

I'm a newbie! Setting my first goal. I tend to set too high of a goal, so I am going with what's a good realistic attainable goal for me. So my goal is: 50 miles of walking/slogging/moving [/url]

just got Kinect (well, my bro did) and it is a great workout! we have Dance Central 2 (has a Fitness Mode), the Kinect Sports is good (volleyball, and boxing are excellent workouts, and fun with the fam), and the Adventures (it is more geared to kids, but great cool down calorie burner----some of those games are non stop…

i have FitBit and absolutely love it. i love the interface, the use of the website (logging in food, to me, is easier via FitBit; however the phone app for MFP has greatly improved), it tracks your steps, calories burned, sleep tracking. the only thing is i like MFP's "community" and forum/message boards better. so i have…

i thought i had a rough week!!! yikes!!! my only excuse is that i had to spend a week commuting back and forth to my mom's house, taking care of her while she recovers from chemo, and coming in late to do "work-related" stuff until 2-3a each morning. and you managed to meet your goal!!! AWESOME!! okay, no excuses for me!!…

i was so glad that you decided to keep going. i saw your post a few days ago and decided to check in and see what your decision was. i know how you feel. i'm in the same boat, mentally. i feel like there's a wall i need to break through. don't look at the negative comments. there's more positive and supportive ones here.…

J. Hottie checking in! i've been using this link to calculate my calories because i know your calorie burn varies by weight and age, and i think MFP is just an average. http://www.internetfitness.com/calculators/calburncalc.htm So far I hit about 400 cals this morning. Plan to get in 200 more this evening. It's 101 degrees…

I barely made my goal this week. But I made it, fellow Jalapeno Hotties! I have this slight cramping in my calf, probably aggravated by being on my feet all day photographing a wedding (I'm a photographer). Nearly cramped up on the treadmill and had to stop after 40 min. I've bern drinking water rating bananas, drinkin…
