My last pregnancy (Oct14-Jul15) I gained ~55% of my pregnancy weight gain during the first half. I know every pregnancy is different, but I'm hoping the same holds true for this pregnancy as well : )

I am 5 weeks postpartum and 15 pounds from my goal weight (126). I am working to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight (134) by 6 weeks postpartum, but I'll miss the target.

Skip the ab work until at least 6 weeks...you undoubtedly have diastasis recti and it won't close /heal if you start doing ab work too soon

I log every morsel and weigh all my food. When I exercise, I estimate the burn for a 130 lb woman (so I don't overestimate my calories burned). I was just wondering if anyone else is not burning ANY calories from breastfeeding.

I love walking for relaxation, QT w/ the family, etc. But (personally) I don't think it's that effective for cardiovascular health or calorie burn. I wore out my stationary bike during pregnancy. I gained 10 lbs at 16 weeks and was 14 lbs up at 20 weeks. After that things kind of tapered off, I ended up gaining 26 lbs total. I wouldn't freak out about it too much. You're doing great!
