You can do ANY workout plan while eating primal/paleo. I ran my fastest marathon EVER eating a paleo diet. I shaved over an hour off of my time. I tend to find that the more that I say "Oh, no thanks, I don't eat wheat/grains/rice/cupcakes/candy/etc", the more that people try to argue with me (why?!). If I leave it as "no thank you!", people don't seem to question nearly as much! :)

Question about the 95/5%!!! Let's say you eat 3 meals a day, 7 days a week for a total of 21 meals. 5% of 21 is 1.05, so does that mean you have 1 "cheat" meal? If you're 80/20, does that mean that 4 meals a week you "cheat"? Or, how do you quantify that 5%, or that 20% if you're 80/20? #confused

My life goal is to be able to "listen to my body" & eat only what is necessary to fuel my body..... I'm working on that, and I'm doing better, but I'm definitely not to that point. Still in the process of reprogramming my brain!!! :)

I track my calories religiously. My mind is so programmed to overeating, that if I do not weigh and type in every single thing that I eat, I'm likely to eat 2000 calories a day (and I'm a 5 foot woman). I also make tuna salad (which can definitely stink up your classroom!), or egg salad. I use lettuce leafs as a sandwich wrap (you can stuff with anything you'd like... sometimes it's easiest to bring all ingredients and make on the spot. I think you're doing a great job. You lost a ton of weight in the first week, but it will (unfortunately) slow down as you get smaller. I am 5'1" and weigh 124 pounds, and like you, that's not "super skinny" as it is for taller people. With all of the working out that you are doing, it would be very hard to net 1200…

It TOTALLY depends on your size. I'm 5 feet tall and weigh about 123 pounds-- 1000-1200 is the ONLY way I can lose weight. If I start eating much higher, I start gaining.
