Tomorrow night is pizza night and I will be having some. Same as every other friday. I watch what I eat and modify for this event.

1) Closing the kitchen after dinner dishes are washed. 2) Walking at least a mile each day on the weekends. 3) Waking up 30 min early to do yoga before my morning walk. 4) Taking 30 min of "me" time after everyone has gone to bed.

I am where you are. This time last year I was 50lbs lighter sadly I have gained almost all of it back. I have been back at it for 2 weeks and I have only seen a 3lb loss. However, it takes time and we CAN do this. Zumba is great (and sounds super fun). Maybe you will find new fitness buddies at Zumba. Just keep with it.…

I tend to drink hot tea with no sugar: My top 3 Numi's Jasmine Green tea is great. Twinings Ultra Spice Chai is awesome (even better with a bit of sugar). Teavana Kona Berry Pop is great (contains rock sugar)

I eat normally. Had Proats and a banana before walking and yogurt and almond granola afterward. Lunch is pretty balanced (protein, carbs, veggies and fruit). I will just keep an eye on it. I agree.. they have some laughing cow cheese thats really good and only 25 calories. Or string cheese is 60. Last time around I thought I was giving up so much (and then i stopped losing weight) and I just went crazy. So... give in a bit here and there. Tweek your other items to fit it in.

I do walk on the weekends. IE 2 miles at the park or zoo but its usually just the weekend. The last 3 days I have done at least 2 miles per day shortly after getting up. So yeah it is kinda new to do that much. My intake is plenty. MFP says I can eat like 2090 or something but I have been trying to keep it at 1600 or less…

First ((HUGS)) I have learned that some doctors just don't care and I try not to let them get under my skin. To me 600-800 sounds too low but then again I weigh 312 so yeah. Made something like this today. 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder 1 1/2 cups unsweet vanilla almond milk 1/2 banana (most times its frozen) 1 tablespoon PB2 Its quite yummy!!

I found a jar yesterday at Big Lots for $4.00 but I know GNC sells it as well.

Cover with some Pesto and top with sliced tomatoes bake for about 2-25 min. Supper Yummy.

Salmon: Cover in pesto sauce add sliced tomatoes on top. (I do this in a foil packet) bake for about 25 min. Talipia: Pan fry in pam. Remove fish. In same pan cook one can of diced tomatoes (or one fresh) with a bit of white wine and capers. Place tomato/Caper mix over fish. Yummy.

I make a version of this called "one of everything" because I only use 1 can of diced tomatoes-usually fire roasted (no tomato sauce) and add 1 cup of water. ETA the last time I made it I added some kale that I had left in the fridge.

2 questions; 1) should we grind the flaxseed first? 2) has anyone had any luck using any other type of fruit like maybe diced apples?

I like it best sauteed with a laughing cow wedge mixed in and some herbs. Its also really good in an omelet with feta(just a bit) , a little bacon and spinach. Plain greek yogurt and sriracha on top.

For an easy lunch I mix 1 chopped chicken breast with a bag of the Green Giant Steamers (it has a light sauce). Quick and easy. I have also just added chunks to various canned soups.

Those are awesome prices. I do find some deals (like a HUGE bag of spinach for $2.00 thats lasts forever) but I tend to find better deals at the grocery store :(

I work on a college campus so there is everything under the sun. I find that stocking my desk with quick and easy is the way to go. Like I bring light soups and freezer meals so that I have plenty of options. I also try to bring my own snack (Fiber One 90 Cal Lemon Bars are my fave right now) but I also bring baby carrots,…

The best is my 4 year old saying he wants to do yoga with me and at some point farts. Then comes "Mommy can you smell my stinky fart". Which makes me laugh. Hard to find my center with the Farting Yogi helping me out.
