We are a family of four. Me, husband, 4 year old, and two month old. I spend between $150-$200 every two weeks. I'm an active sale shopper and use coupons. Most of our groceries come from the other areas of the grocery stores (produce, deli, meat, dairy, etc...)

Evening. I'm not fully functioning in the morning. I'd end up with some ridiculous injury if I worked out in the morning hours.

I eat like normal. My daily calories range between 1,390 and 1,500 a day, depending how much exercising I do. I do not eat most of my calories during the day. Once a day.... unless I am going out later that night and was in the hot sun all day or in a swimming pool. Then I'll shower twice.

My knees are junk too after three separate sprain incidents when I was younger. I have found going for a walk or using an elliptical works best for me on bad days. When my knees aren't acting up, I play Just Dance 4.

Keep doing what you're doing and be patient. I'm on a 1,400 calorie diet as well. I haven't lost much weight, but I feel skinnier and much healthier.

If I am on an elliptical or treadmill, I listen to music. I work out at home 99% of the time to the Just Dance series, so I listen to music all the time for that one obviously. :)

I use Designer Whey (vanilla). I bought it at GNC, but have seen it at Kroger's too. I found a bunch of really good protein shake recipes on Pintrest. :)

So sorry! :( Everyone has at least one know-it-all in the office who acts like that. You want to throw a shoe at them and I'm sure it would burn about 20 calories doing so, but it's best just to ignore said person. Or agree, smile, and nod your head as if you care about their unwanted opinions. :)

The Just Dance 4 Sweat Mode is a lot better than Just Dance 3. A lot better! I've pretty much only played Just Dance 4 in the Sweat Mode instead of Dance Mode. I'm addicted to it.

I have Just Dance 2, 3, and 4 for Wii. I use them all at random times, depending on my mood, for my workouts. I also have the Black Eyed Peas dance game for the Wii as well. I don't stick to any certain routine. One day I'll do 45 minutes of Just Dance, the next day, I'll just take a 30 minute walk in the evening. We have a joint checking/savings. It's just easier to pay for all of our bills. We don't fight over money. Neither one of us are big spenders. When we make big purchases, we pay cash. For the small amount of credit card debt we have, it's easy to make larger payments when our money is combined.

I weigh myself once a week. Usually on Sunday or Monday morning.

I have found that 1,200 calories is too little for me. My daily goal is 1,380. If I ever come in a little low to that, I have a piece of wheat toast with peanut butter. It keeps me feeling full until morning. Very rarely can I pull off 1,200 calories without feeling hungry.

We don't eat a lot of fast food in our household. My favorite fast food is Subway. I'll never completely cut fast food out of my life. It's a fun treat to have here and there. I have always taken my own food to work because eating out five days a week is not in our budget.

I'll be watching in a couple of hours. I'm on the west coast. I love the cooking challenges and finding new ways to get delicious tasting, healthy foods. 1,100 shouldn't even be "starvation mode". Especially since most goals are 1,200 calories per day. I can understand if that notification pops up if you only ate 900 calories though.
