Honestly I would eat more, I'd go for that whole 2000 you have has your daily goal. i'm starting to really believe everyone should go with Your TDEE - 20%(30%) depending on how much weight you have to lose. Like for example all i'm seeing is around 1500 calories consumed today if you burned 500 that's only 1000 calories…

I always make homemade whole wheat pancakes, way lower on calories. I always use olive oil making them homemade as well. They turn out great and are way better than pre packaged pancakes. I highly recommend giving that a try. Generally most of the 100% whole wheat pancake recipes have 60-100 calories per.

From what I understand a good place to start is to take away 20% of your TDEE, that should be your calorie goal each day. While always eating your exercise calories back.
