There is a recipe on this forum for my falafels. If you use canned chick peas instead of dried ones you would not have to do any cooking. These falafels are great in wraps with a little salad and B-B-Q sauce.

I have just finished reading 'Eat to Live' by Dr Joel Fuhrman. While I do not follow his plan I have changed some of my ideas such as minimising refined foods, eating more greens etc. I have been a vegetarian for many years so his ideas aren't too scary for me. A lot of his stuff made a lot of sense and it seemed to be…

1200 calories plus the burn or just 1200? Question - were you eating just 1200 calories or 1200 + exercise calories? I did not eat my exercise calories back, I just ate at 1200 calories. Thank you for your positive feedback.

Thank you everyone for your lovely compliments. I tried out Ripped in 30 today, I am tossing up on whether doing that or doing 30 Day Shred again.

Your stats are amazing. Shame the photos aren't viewable for me, maybe it has something to do with the program you loaded them with and my location. Unfortunately, in my location a lot of popular sites are blocked. I have 6 more days to go before I can post my 30DS results.

Here are a couple of recipes. I tried (and modified) the Thai Basil Eggplant this week, I really enjoyed it. The site for the recipes has all of the nutritional information for the recipes as well. http://caloriecount.about.com/thai-basil-eggplant-recipe-r65149 http://caloriecount.about.com/eggplant-bharta-recipe-r8814…

Another way is what I call 'Asian Spicy Cucumber'. This is a popular snack in China. Julienne cucumber into 2 inch lengths. Squeeze some Wasabi into a small dipping bowl (use about the same amount as you would use toothpaste on your toothbrush) and top it with about a tablespoon of soy sauce. Dip cucumber deep for the…

Thanks for that, it sounds delicious.

Canned chick peas would work as well - I just can't buy them in my location. Thought it was Christmas when I found dried ones.

Hi I am totally new to this website and infact today is my first day to follow this. I read your recepie and sounds reallly interesting. I am infact looking for more menu items with the calories breakdown, if you have any please share. for this Falafal, what kind of wrap you use because what I understand, each wrap…

My fault for being confusing. I forgot to mention that you mash the chick peas before adding the other ingredients. Traditionally falafels are deep fried, I don't fry mine or bake them. I do add water if the mixture is too dry and form golf ball sized portions. I only use these in wraps. I don't know about restaurant ones…
