I am sooooo struggling. Can't really believe I' ll ever been thin. Been slightly over weight all my life but want to be slim and healthy. I'd love to see photos of people who have been in healthy weight but then lost abou ten pounds. Would also love to be buddies with anyone similar to me.
I'm 48 year year oldvfemale, 5ft 7 and weigh 148 pounds.

Wouldn't you be in the healthy range, according to BMI? Maybe you've gained muscle and replaced fat. I wouldn't focus so much on the weight. If I was 148 lb., I would be glad with being that weight. (I am 5 ft. 5.5 in., and 173 lb.-33 years old). Focus more on how you feel, and not on a number.

But have small bone structure. I'm 36% body fat so I think my weight makes me sound thinner than I am.

The number doesn't bother me but I want to lose some of the fat.

Yep, I am 5'6 and 142lb. Usually sit around 135 but my weight has gone up a little after returning to work after having a couple of babies and giving up my gym membership last year. I found after having babies, both times the last 10lbs so slow to come off, so I assume it will be the same this time.

Good luck , just keep persevering and you'll get there!

I'm 5'8" and fairly large framed. In the last ten weeks I've lost 12 pounds, going from 160 pounds to 148 - my body fat has dropped from 29.9% to 25.9%. I'm wanting to get below 25% body fat so have a few more pounds to go.

I have been convinced all my life that I'd always be a little bit chubby - top of the healthy weight range for my height - but that's so not true. Loving the slender me.

I'm 5'6 and have lost 10 pounds, going from a healthy weight of 144 pounds to 134 pounds currently. It's not easy and it seems to come off very slowly, so don't get disheartened when you don't lose as quickly as MFP predicts. Good luck!

I have MFP set to lightly active with a goal of losing 1 pound a week and eat back around half of my exercise calories :)

Hi! I reached a healthy weight for my height last August. Since then I've been on a pretty small deficit (half lb per week or less deficit) and been losing very slowly. I've lost about 10-12 lbs since then. It's definitely harder to lose fat once you get relatively thin. For one, you have less leeway with calories since your TDEE is lower than an obese or overweight person's. One high cal day can take out the deficit you built the ten days before, kwim? Plus any fat you lose can be masked by water weight really easily. That's been my experience anyway. I want to lose a few more lbs of fat and I lost a few in March and April but now I'm back where I was in Feb. Hoping it's water weight but it doesn't seem like it by appearance and fit of clothes. It can be hard not to get frustrated.

But, like I said, I've lost 10 lbs since reaching a healthy weight, it just takes time. :flowerforyou:
