Unfortunately, I'm at school and the only day I have access to a scale is Thursday, so I'll be weighing in then. Feel free to set another day if you want, but I'll be reporting back every Thursday.

I'm very in - I need to lose 18 by mid-May, so if I could get rid of a lot of that in the next 6 weeks, it would be wonderful. I'm involved in a couple of other challenges but I'm finding I forget about them during the week (we only check in once a week)...would we be able to check in with each other a little more often,…

hi everyone! Congratulations on all of your hard work and your successes! I'm so proud of everyone! :) I'm home for Spring Break this week with no scale, so I wasn't able to weigh in (and I REALLY wouldn't want to this week!). I'll weigh in next Thursday as usual, though! :)

Excellent! Welcome, everyone. We'll weigh in on Thursdays - we can start this Thursday. If you want to get support from each other, just post a topic under "Graduation Goals," and look for it on Thursdays! I'll be able to post it Thursday evening (I work all day), but if someone wants to post the check-in before…

How about Thursdays for weigh-in day?!

i'm giving up fried sides (onion rings, french fries, mozzarella sticks, etc.) because i am ADDICTED to french fries. :)

Hi everyone! :) Just had my weigh-in this morning! SW 160.0 Last week's W 158.6 CW 157.4 YAY! :) Great job to everyone!

ABSOLUTELY NOT! I work with a personal trainer on a regular basis who always fields this kind of question! She preaches the fact the muscle burns more calories than fat. She constantly tells me that she would much rather see me on the treadmill for a half-hour and strength training for a half-hour instead of spending the…

Good luck in your journey! Feel free to add me!

I don't weigh in until tomorrow morning, but I'm getting nervous after my terrible weekend. I'll check in tomorrow!

I'm a senior about to graduate in Western NY. I gained something along the lines of the freshmen/sophomore 40...trying to get it off now before graduation! however, if your campuses are anything like mine, there is pizza and junk food constantly available, so easier said than done!

Hi there! We're in the same boat. I turn 22 in 2 weeks, I weigh 158.4, and I'm looking to get down to the 130, 125 region. Feel free to add me!

I was talking to a personal trainer a few days ago who said that many reps with lighter weights or fewer reps with heavier weights works your body the same - it's all about you being able to feel that muscle fatigue when you're finished.
-
I would suggest that if this happens once every two weeks or so, don't force yourself to eat when you're not hungry. However, you might want to reconsider if it's a more regular occurrence. You want to make sure you're getting your nutrients.

this weekend was ROUGH! pizza is ALWAYS available on this college campus! :) Looking forward to weighing in later in the week, though!
-
had a pretty good day too, went a little over on my sodium but had a pretty solid workout. hope you all had wonderfully fabulous days! :) I hope it's okay with everyone, but I'm going to be doing my weigh-ins on Thursdays still. I live on campus at school and Thursday is the only day I have access to a scale (and i'm WAY…

I'm Meghan! :) Are we weighing in starting THIS Wednesday?

This is just what I need to keep up my motivation for a great couple of months before it FINALLY gets warm. SW: 160 GW: 125 Thirty-five stubborn lbs to go! :) Good luck to everyone and keep checking in. We can do this together!

I wear volleyball shorts or spandex under my sweats...the added layer covers up the underwear lines but is still extremely comfortable.

Hi there! I'm on a quest to lose 40, too! Feel free to friend me if you want. Good luck! :)

I'm in, too! Maybe this will help motivate me to have a Skinny Superbowl Sunday, too! :)

Hey there! I'm in the EXACT situation that you're in, living in the dorms and everything. It's my third week of not drinking. :) It hasn't been easy though! What I've been doing is going out with my friends and doing exactly what they do, but I've been substituting water. So if we play flip cup, beer pong, or quarters, I…

This might sound crazy, but I posted pictures of myself from when I was skinny all over my apartment! My computer desktop, the refrigerator, the back of doors, everywhere! When I see the pictures, they make me WANT to get up and do something. :)

The first couple of days is the hardest, and then it gets addicting! :) Welcome and good luck!

First of all, RELAX! :) You only started a week ago, and you're making some BIG changes! Give your body some time to get used to them. Second, keep eating all of the calories that you need to stay healthy. I know it's difficult to see that number go up every meal/snack, but you're doing what's best for your body. Finally,…

I don't really enjoy having fruits and vegetables as snacks between meals (they bore me), so instead I try to have a fruit or a veggie WITH every meal. I don't dread it as much if I know that I'm eating an awesome tuna sandwich with those raw baby carrots. Plus, having an orange as a side for dinner really cuts back on…

That does sound extremely frustrating...I'm sorry that you're having such a hard time. Remember though, even if you're not making an progress on the scale right now (and you will soon!), you are living a MUCH healthier life than in the past. Your body is thanking you for helping it become healthier, even if it hasn't shown…
