  • Okay awesome! I think fad diets are short term gains but seriously bad for health and long term. I would never want to lose weight that way haha such a stupid idea.
  • Also a lot of people said drastic changes are too difficult and almost inevitably relapse. I just wanted to add my life is optimal for being in shape. Mon-fri 8-3 and living alone until my wedding in July. It is quite honestly not a challenge for me to eat well at all. Just figured I would add that :P
  • Haha I will always take every opinion on here with a grain of salt. I always research prior to new things I find on here. If I am intrigued I try them. If they don't work I move on. I did happen to stumble across similar research haha :P
  • It does for sure I will most definitely look into the food combining for sure. Generally for the fruit I eat it about 60 minutes after cereal but if it makes more sense to do it the other way around I will for sure research that :)
  • I set the watch at my weight, age and current "stride" distance
  • Thank you for the quick responses! No this one does not have a chest strap, but i have no problem with returning it and getting the one with the chest strap which is actually ten dollars cheaper. Does wetting my wrist where the watch is matter, or does that only apply to the chest strap? I found it odd how I was getting a…
  • I am just specifically talking about the people who don't voice a friendly opinion. I am talking about the people who outright tell you whatever they do is EXACTLY what you should do because if it worked for them it has to work for you. I've seen this to be completely untrue. This is my opinion, and almost all opinions,…
  • Hey! I have grown to absolutely love vegetables! Some alternatives you might like could be for example a fruit source plus veggie bar which is like a bigger fruit leather snack and is 3 servings of fruits and vegetables. Another trick you might like is I wake up 15 minutes before I normally do and do a quick 10-15 minute…
  • I started this site but fell back into it last year because of excuses. I am back at it full swing and it really does work. Over time it becomes part of your routine and really shows what you eat and it's values! Awesome job starting it I hope you like it!
  • I keep mine open because who cares what other people think I eat what I love and it happens to be super great haha!
  • It does matter what time of the day you eat. If you eat very soon before bed your body is at it's resting stage and will process the food slower. The best rule of thumb is to have your last meal or snack three hours before bed.
  • I buy the real lemon and real lime juice and it makes water amazing. I drink 3 litres a day and it is fantastic, and super cheap. It also helps to deter you from drinking juices!
  • I really do appreciate all of the opinions for sure and will take a lot into consideration. Especially eating higher calorie healthy foods and eating my calorie intake. I can see that calorie intake is most definitely the most argued topic on this site haha. Thanks again everyone!
  • What's strange to me is it really is a ton of food I eat. I eat every 1-2 hours and I feel full but I will be incorporating more protein and bigger dinners to my diet.
  • I completely agree because with bacon it has way less preservatives then turkey bacon does.
  • Generally it is unhealthy to work out the same muscle group more than twice a week. Your muscles need to repair which can take 24-48 hours. I work out 6 days a week and do one muscle group a day.
  • Don't recommend what you don't do :)
  • That's weird because in a different topic you posted in just minutes ago, you recommended someone else to eat fruits instead of junk.
  • Honestly that is a terrible excuse for not eating fruits and vegetables. Sugars have natural sugar where your body needs to break down the food to get to your bloodstream in a healthy way. Those are sugars you need. Refined sugars such as pop, candy etc. go straight to the bloodstream which is unhealthy. So not eating any…
  • I am from Canada and it makes me sad to see our canadian pride is becoming american a little every day :(
  • I apparently never eat on my MPF food profile but it's total bull. I have lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks and I eat all the time. The things I generally eat are low in calories. So it is really hard for me to eat what the site tells me to eat which for today is 2600 calories. I couldn't if i tried unless I ate super bad food…
  • That may be true but the sodium is terrible.
  • Everyone is different. I work out and I don't eat mine I just eat when I am hungry and I drink a ton of water. And I've lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks.
  • I used to eat a ton of food, and bad food. When I started eating very healthy, ate 4-5 meals a day and I also drink a ton of water. In just a week I feel fuller over smaller amounts of food! And exercise helps a lot too to take away from the cravings of salt.
  • Are you drinking 8 glasses a day? Also are you under your sodium, sugar, fat and carb goals?
  • Honestly a lot of things factor. Your height, weight and BMR. I would recommend getting a heart rate monitor so you would know how many you are burning.
  • I used to drink diet as well quite a bit. I have been drinking 14 glasses of water a day and I lost ten pounds just in the water weight! So I think it does definitely play a role! And if you are craving some flavor, I bought this real lemon juice and it has zero added sugar and no calories and it makes water taste great!
  • Beautiful British Columbia in Canada :)
  • I did look at your journal. Minus the binge day you are doing okay food wise. Are you drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day? And my advice would be to exercise more for sure. Good luck!!
