  • Me too - about 160 to lose give or take. Lost over 30 on here a year and a half ago then broke my ankle and gained it all back. Have lost 11 again but some support would be nice - both to give and receive :) Good luck in your journeys!
  • I'm kind of in the same boat as you my friend - just with anemia instead of mono. I have no energy at all and I work 60+ hours a week so exercise always is on the back burner. Unfortunately as a result my weightloss is microscopically slow. YOu have been such an inspiration to me throughout my journey - I hope I can help…
  • During the week at work I have a light Yoplait yogurt and a fiber one caramel bar - I buy them every two weeks and leave them in the office so there is no excuse for me to have a healthy breakfast. I also pre-portion fruit and have it either with my breakfast if I need a little more or throw it into my afternoon salad.
  • Dear Sweet Sue - I am so sorry you had to experience what you went through today. Unfortunately there is a lot of hate and venom on the walls at all times and some of the topics you see in the ticker just makes me shake my head. What you wrote today was a cold hard reality check that needed to be said. If it means…
  • Hey there! I'm right there with you - We can do this together! You can add me if you want. There is a great 300+ group on here too that I am a part of :) Good Luck and enjoy the journey!!!
  • Amazing advice Sisters in Christ! I was struggling earlier today and prayed for guidance and strength to not let my urges defeat me. He will see us through the challenges in our journey :D
  • Your focus towards your goal is AMAZING! Because of your drive and determination I see you and Special Ed going to the fair next year and walking it together with your brand new knees! I look forward to reading the next blog or comment you make. You continue to inspire me daily! God Bless and enjoy every instant!
  • Almost double that actually! You can do this! Anyone can add me if they would like. Good luck on your journey :o)
  • Hi Natalie! I'm 44 and 've been on MFP for about two and a half months and this is the first time in over 15 years I have actually been successful. For the first time ever - I am doing my journey the right way - slow and steady and making true lifestyle choices/changes. I have a lot more to lose than you do and I am…
  • In some parts of the US, tap water is truly nasty. Where I live, it smells and is technically safe to drink but it tastes horrible. I either buy bottled water in the restaurant or drink fresh brewed unsweetened ice tea with lemon. The waitress was probably more upset about your free water not adding to her check / tip than…
  • What a great idea! The hardest part has been the exercising for me but to do it for wonderful causes - that makes me want to walk! I love Eeyore too by the way! Thanks for the advice, I will be using this :)
  • I'm 44 and struggling as well. Been doing MFP for two months and found this has been the most successful attempt yet. I have lost 22 pounds in 65 days. (Mind you, I have a ton more weight to lose than you, but it's finally coming off!) I have found eating cleaner and having to honestly write everything down has made a huge…
  • Me too :) I have 180 #'s to lose (gasp!) but I have lost 16 of those so far - we can do this together!
