  • If your aim is to gain muscle in most cases you're going to gain weight. If you can disassociate weight on the scale to equal weight then you will be ok, weight doesn't mean someone is healthy or unhealthy. To lose weight be in a caloric deficit To gain weight be in a small surplus. if you do either slowly it minimises fat…
  • Unless you can't access food and the protein shakes are purely for convenience and not laziness (sorry to sound rude). Then try switching it out and replace with wholesome foods like chicken or other lean meats it'll offer similar macros but keep you fuller for longer

  • For me I use the treadmill for sprint intervals and elliptical for LISS. If i want to run i will try and run outdoors Works well :) keeps me from getting bored of one or the other. Oh and I had an ACL knee reconstruction a few years back so have to manage my knee too.
  • Going through your last few days your sodium intake is through the roof is it normally like that? How much water do you tend to drink a day? it maybe a form of dehydration or because you're reintroducing a form of food/fuel to the body your stomach doesn't have the enzymes to digest it properly. i'd give it a little longer…

  • Just as an alternative Chocolate. If you crave chocolate, it doesn’t mean your body has a chocolate deficiency, although I think most people would prefer that. Chocolate is high in magnesium. Cravings for it often indicate that your body is deficient in magnesium, which is a common deficiency. If you’re going to eat…

  • When I got back into training I was with someone who not only didn't exercise but didn't like me to either. She likes long distance running…
  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh dear, go read and understand about physiology and what the body does with food and it's thermic effect. If this helps you learn to undersand and begin to repair your relationship with food fine but it's not a magic solution it's not sustainable alas why it only lasts 17days, a manageable calorie…
  • Low calorie/ restrictive diets cause more people to binge or fall off the wagon if you are getting the appropriate fuel for you life and workouts you wont feel the need to binge. • if you are new to lifting you can and will gain muscle strength while eating at a deficit, some people can continue to build (I'm an example) during a fat loss program
  • Stop stealing routines from everyone else and pretending they're yours while promoting those godly unhealthy products and diets. You are putting a nation in a dangerous mindset! Oh and lay off the coke and male growth hormones!
  • why not shake it up and if you know your friends are going for a meal on day x make that your big intake day. routine and repetition in diet ie food eaten and intake along with the same training routine causes plateau enjoy life be considerate of your health and weight loss goal just dont let it dictate your life :)
  • I find the opposite, for me ending in big compound moves is my preference so i give everything left and am done. Best starting with dumbell work first as the smaller muscles tend to fatigue quicker than the main ones. Try something for a few weeks and change it up see what works for you
