I take thin chicken cutlets and place provolone cheese, a tbsp on ricotta cheese, and spinach then roll up the chicken using toothpicks to hold the shape. Season outside with garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, paprika and parmesan cheese. Bake 350 for 35-45 minutes. Yum.

That is amazing. I began January 4th and this journey of weight loss would not have been possible without MFP. Congrats to you and that swimsuit.

Movie theater popcorn. We took our boys to see the new Shrek movie, but I didn't have one bite. By the way the movie is adorable.

First of all welcome! When I began my weight loss journey I was looking for something to not just lose weight, which I already knew how to do, but for something to teach me about nutrition. This is a great website and you will find real friends and support here. The food diary lets you see exactly what you are eating,…

I'm glad you're back. I hope you find success and happiness. Losing weight can be a tough challenge but it is a rewarding one. Welcome home and good luck.

I hope you get out of your plateau soon. It can be frustrating, since you don't have time to work out I would focus on diet. Perhaps limiting sodium or carbs for a bit. I am personally in to a low carb diet, and have seen a lot of success, you may want to give that a shot. Wishing you the best.

I am currently on a low carb diet. Whenever I have been successful at losing weight limiting my carbs has always given me results. Certainly Atkins diet is one avenue and south beach is another, but I know I have seen results monitoring and restricting my carbs. I'm down 34lbs since January 4th, I hope you give it a try…

I totally agree. I like to purchase the fresh pico de gallo from the grocery store and use that as my dressing. Yummy!!

One of my favorite easy meals I am actually cooking tonight. Roast chicken breast season with salt. pepper and garlic powder 350 degrees until cooked. Meanwhile in a large saute pan, heat 2-3tbsp olive oil and add: 1 medium yellow onion sliced 1/2 green bell pepper sliced 1/2 red bell pepper sliced 3 cloves of garlic…

My parents met at a bowling alley. My dad worked there and my mom would go and bowl every week. They will be married 35 years on May 3rd.

I suppose you could use the term "high school sweethearts." Although many things had to fall into place for us after high school for us to get married. Andrew joined the Air Force about 1 year after his high school graduation, which was just a few months after I graduated. We kept a long distance relationship going while…

I woke up this morning after 10 without any weight loss and decided being 8lbs away from my goal it is time to change something and cutting out alcohol is what it is. I even worked out harder this week, burned more calories than usual and still no budge in the scale. So I am with you. I have heard drinking can slow your…

I just moved from the Atlanta area last year. I used to give my bosses who were Braves fans grief when they would drink out of my Yankee coffee mug. When we were reassigned and moved to the pacific NW I was sure to send them a brand new Yankee mug to remember me by. Go Yankees!
-
I'm a Yankee fan. In fact I was just looking at their schedule and they only come to Seattle (where I live now) once this season. I'm super excited though to get the season underway. They open against Boston this year.

For dessert you can make chocolate covered strawberries. Buy sugar free dark chocolate bars. Mix with a splash of heavy cream and melt down in a double boiler. Carb haters do eat some carbs, Strawberries are low in carbs and the sugar free chocolate uses sugar alcohol and won't affect his low carb diet.

Hello ladies. Its beena a while since I have been on. Last night I took care of my friends kids while she had her D&C. I feel 10 years older after caring for 4 kids yesterday, sad isn't it, how such…

I don't go to a movie without a jacket with REALLY big pockets. I sneak in my own water, strawberries and almonds. Yum. Someday movie theaters will catch on and offer healthy snacks, until then they can keep there junk.

I tend to reach for sugar-free chocolates. Many different companies make them, my favorite after dinner treat.

This is just your first hurdle of many. I have a lot of days since I started that I begin my workout and really feel like quitting. Or like yesterday I had so much to do I was actually trying to convince myself that I just didn't have 50 minutes to exercise. I ignored myself and decided that in fact I could slip in a…

GM everyone! Trying to get up and out of the house early today. I have to run up to base which is about 35 minutes away and do my big grocery shopping at the commissary. Thankfully the boys like going, but I try to race home before Ryan falls asleep in the car, so he can come home and nap and I can get my workout in.…

Hey ladies. I haven't been on in a while. On Friday my friend called me, I may have mentioned her on here before. Well anyway she was pregnant with her 3rd baby (after hubby came home from Iraq for 2 weeks in Dec.) she went for an 8 week ultrasound and there is only a sac. The dr. gave her a 1% chance of this pregnancy…

My solution is sugar free chocolate. Hershey special dark chocolate and reese's peanut butter cups. If I want sweet and salty I mix in a handful of peanuts with it. It gets me through my cravings.

That is awesome! You must be so proud.
