I have pretty much done it
I have just 2 lbs to go until my goal. I set my goal based off of what I weighed when I got married 8 years ago. Last night I tried on a blue formal gown I wore our honeymoon on our cruise through the Caribbean and it fit perfectly. I feel great that I have accomplished this. However, why stop here. Perhaps I should lose…

I have lost 31 lbs and although I am only 5lbs from my goal, can still look at my body and want to see improvement. I can't help but wonder what size I should I wear to be normal? What is "normal" anymore? Size 2, size, size 6? What are you trying to accomplish? I am 29 the mother of a 5 and 2 year old and wonder what is…

Time to shop
I have been going through my closet and I hate all my clothes. My pants are too big and the ones that do fit are just old. My tops are not showing off my new shape, and are not very flattering. So today before I take my son to preschool, I am going to treat myself to a few new shirts, maybe a pair of pants and a cute bra…

Had my first cheat meal
Last night I went out to dinner with my husband alone for the first time in 13 months. Its not often we can get a babysitter and family lives far away. My friends watched our two boys last night and we went off to a local casino for dinner and a little gambling. This was my first "cheat anything" since I began on Jan 2nd.…

Drinking too much?
Just curious if any of you have ever felt bloated the next day after drinking fluids late in the evening the night before. I'm not talking about alcohol. I simply drank extra (way more then I'm used too) because I was flushing my system, I feel like I have a possible UTI beginning. I don't typically drink much past 7-8ish.…

Too big?
I was getting dressed this morning and found a cute button down shirt that I bought when I got to WA. Thought to myself how I hadn't been able to wear it in the last few months. So I put it on and it was too big! I'm kind of shocked. I am back to the weight I was when I arrived out here, but have obviously lost more in…

taking measurements?
I have never taken any measurements but I starting to think I should. I have relied on the scale and the way my clothes fit. It just didn't occur to me that taking measurements could also be a good motivator. I know I have lost 1.5-2 inches on my waist based off of my belt and I can see the difference in my legs. So I know…

how accurate is the "in 5 weeks" ?
I see this number fluctuate from time to time which is not discouraging, but I can't help but wonder how accurate it is? I didn't lose a single pound this week, which is one of those frustrating plateau's but I wonder if the number of what I would "weigh in 5 weeks" is reflecting that I have hit a plateau? It has slightly…

losing inches
Just having an out loud thought. I always find it amazing that you can lose inches without losing weight. I understand its partially due to muscle mass, I just find it comical that your getting smaller and you total mass and weighing the same. Can you tell I have hit a slight plateau by posting this? lol

Hello from WA
I'm here to repeat what I did after I had my 2nd son in March of 2008. I gained 33 pregnancy lbs with him and was determined after he was born to not only lose that weight but get to a healthy weight. I accomplished that feet losing at total of 54 lbs. I was feeling great until the military relocated us. We were living on…
