^^ This. You are telling us how much you exercise but, you are leaving out the most important details. Losing weight is 80% diet. If your diet is on tract you don't have to do any exercise and you will still lose weight.

Exercise to lose weight is overrated.
-
I don't understand why it's easier to burn.

My weight normal fluctuates 4 or 5 lbs a day. Weight loss is Not linear because of food gut weight and water retention. As long as you are in a deficit, Fat loss is pretty much linear. It's just that you can't measure it with a weight scale. You just got to trust the calories in vs calories out system.

One day of being way under is not going to have any effect.
-
When you were setting up the new goal, did you set your activity level to sedentary? If you are going to count your exercise calories, most likely "sedentary" is the right setting.

30 calories - cream in my coffee 30 calories - fish oil 60 calories total I like to save my calories for lunch and dinner

If you open up your food diary, maybe we can troubleshoot what the problem is. Also, do you weigh yourself daily and at the same time of day? TOM? Eating more sodium or carbs lately?
-
Do you weigh your food with a food scale?

Jacked = building muscles. Even at your age, If you are a newbie, you can still gain 10lbs of solid muscle in 1 years time. More muscle also strengthens your bones as you get older. No Calcium supplementation can match the benefits on weightlifting for bone health.

Ok, 1st thing you need to do is stop listening to Scooby. Some of the stuff is OK, but, he's got tons of broscience stuff on his site. Divide your time period into cut phases and bulk phases. Example: Cut until you are 10% than clean bulk until you are 12% then go back on a cut. (you can use whatever bf% that suits you).…

At the end of the day, it makes no difference. The "Theory" is that you need to burn off the glycogen stored in your muscles first before tapping into the fat storage. Bunch of pseudo science. Whether you burn a calorie from carbohydrate or fat it's still a calorie. Calorie in vs Calorie out is the only thing that matters.

Higher fat meat is much cheaper then lean meat. So, you are going to save money. The flavor is rinsed out so, it's not viable for all recipe. But, for chili or spaghetti sauce, you probably won't be able to tell the difference.

WTF I'm eating close to 200 grams a day. I didn't know all I needed was 5-10 grams. fml Toning Muscles? What the hell is that anyways. Other then those 2, I generally agree with the rest of the myths.

Waste of money. Take it from somebody that has wasted over $5000 worth of supplements in my lifetime. Only thing that is worth a damn is: Creatine Monohydrate Fish Oil (get the one that is high in EPA/DHA)

How to reduce fat in ground beef: http://www.foodsafety.wisc.edu/assets/pdf_Files/Reducing%20Fat%20in%20Ground%20Beef.pdf I rinse beef in hot water but, It does take the flavor out though. If you add beef broth back into the rinsed beef it restores some of the flavors. Not ideal for all recipes but, works really good for…

Buy whatever is cheaper or taste better. The concentrate is gonna be cheaper. The whole "Isolate" protein digest/absorbs into the muscle is a bunch of bro-science. There are some company-sponsored studies to show the benefits of isolate protein but, they are just using the poorly designed studies to suit their marketing…

That is why I prefer using an IV bag. I got the perfect stream of Macros and Micro Nutrients feeding my body 24 hours a day. Eating is overrated.
-
I do everything this guy said. In addition, before I go to bed, I hook up an IV with Casein Protein. Your muscles will go catabolic if you don't do this. Just make sure your drip rate is set to less than 20 grams of protein per hour. If you add more, the body can't use the extra protein and it will turn into fat. If you…

Sorry, but not gonna happen in 6 weeks. You could go on a super low carb / no carb diet and quickly lose around 5-8 lbs of water weight, but water weight is just temporary and you will gain all that water weight back once you eat carbs again. Realistically, a good weight loss pace for someone that is 135 lbs is about .5…

She does mention in a later post that she eats here exercise calorie back. 1500 is fine.

I also have some back issues and love to lift heavy. I can deadlift without to much issues but, going for the heavy squats feels a little iffy. For the time being, I am doing 1 leg squats off a platform (Don't mistake this with step-ups which is a completely different exercise). Lots of load on the legs without putting too…

lol, I am going to suggest that you decrease your cardio. If you don't have the energy, increasing the cardio is going to make you feel even weaker. Being in the gym for 1 hour and 40 minutes is a looooooong time. Save up your energy for lifting weight as it has a much better effect for preserving muscles. The general rule…

That was an extremely poorly designed study. The study just showed a correlation that people who drank regular soda, weighed less than people who drank diet soda. They came to a ridiculous conclusion that drinking diet soda was more conducive to being overweight than regular soda. Correlation does not equal Causation. The…

Nothing wrong with saving up calories for the weekend Newer research shows that the "afterburner" is a complete myth. Other than being wrong on all points, good first post.

In for definition of "Clean" eating as well. If I spray my steak with Windex, Does that make it "clean"?

Losing weight is 80% Diet. Concentrate more effort on your diet. Get a food scale, weigh every single thing that goes into your mouth. Exercise is not going to do a thing if your diet is not in order.
-
Generally speaking, as far as diet is concern: A fit bodybuilder has a better grasp on how to lose weight. I would trust their advice over most nutritionist and doctors. Don't get me wrong, there a some very good nutritionist out there but, there are so many nutritionist that relies on their 4 year degree they got 10 to 15…

How long have you been eating @ sub 1000 calories. If it was for only a couple of weeks, it's not a big deal.

Have not tried the Shakeology but, I am sure it's no different than the thousands of other supplement that are out there. I've probably spent a good $5,000 dollars on supplement in my lifetime. Basically, it didn't do anything. Maybe a placebo effect since I'm so gullible. Just eat real food. Losing weight is Calories in…
