I love listening to Ivor Cummins.

If you do this, make sure you get real crab, not the imitation crap that has a ton of carbs in it. I've been told to search Pinterest for vegetarian keto recipes, but I like seafood just fine and haven't bothered with it yet.

Well, crap. Mine, too!

That is a distinct possibility. My computer/internet combination is not the best, and it tends to randomly eat things and does things that I don't recall having told it to do...

This stuff is awesome: http://mariamindbodyhealth.com/pumpkin-swirl-cheesecake/ I'll probably make it without the crust next time. You don't have to mess with the swirl if you don't want to, everything can just be mixed.

Hubby pointed out that actually having a meal plan is my thing and not actually a requirement. I think we're going to try planning food just a day or 2 ahead (I'm in a position where it's easy for me to hit the grocery store more often) and work on it that way, 'cause everything in a meal plan generally falls apart by day…

Don't buy it on Amazon until you know which ones you like. Go to the health food store (and in some grocery stores, their healthy section) and look for the snack packs. They're normally a dollar or so. Here's an Amazon link so you can see what we're talking about and how it's packaged:…

So, I'm done with my nutrition class (except for a bit of stuff I'm still working on...ok, a LOT of stuff). We figured out that most of my digestive problems are actually due to stress - odds are, I haven't digested while in a parasympathetic state in years. During the class, I went up 10 pounds and 3% body fat just…

I already have Habit Stacking, so I'll load it onto my kindle to read while camping next weekend!

I have this open in a tab to read when I'm more awake.

Mmmmm Bop! So, uh, yes. But they spelled it Hanson, I believe.

Still no Dr. Pepper. I have established that bad things happen if I skip my morning coffee, though. I may need to start throttling back on that eventually. Going camping next weekend, and if I make it through that without Dr. Pepper, I will consider the habit broken for now and move on to the next.

The Dr. Pepper has not made a return. I have probably about 30 pounds to lose, but I'll be happy if I just get in better shape (ie, my goal is not a certain weight, but to go do things). I think I'm going to work on changing lunches next. I have fishies cooked from yesterday (in-laws decided we should go out to eat right…

EggToni, I've been using the sparkling waters without sweeteners, like LaCroix. They do indeed help when you're craving!

If you don't have enough IgA, you can have celiac and still test negative for it on that test. https://www.beyondceliac.org/celiac-disease/related-conditions/iga-deficiency/

Regular instant oatmeal makes my blood sugar go up to about 180 or 190 after 2 hours, which is honestly the highest I've ever seen it, and I feel like CRAP. I'm out of test strips, so haven't tested with the Superfoods stuff, but don't feel like crap. I do get more of an urge for Elevensies, whereas if I eat salami and…

Not specifically low carb, but Food Freedom Forever, Eat Dirt, and The Thyroid Connection are all on sale today for $4.99 or less.

None of the us will be interested in butchering, smoking, or sausage, right? https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Butchering-Smoking-Curing-Sausage-ebook/dp/B004PLNROQ (ETA: the reviews indicate that it's mostly butchering and the rest is just a side note)

In our store, the Mikey's muffins and English muffins are right by the gluten-free and vegan stuff in the frozen section. I'll have to look for the pizza crusts.
-
http://stores.worldmarket.com/tx/austin.html They sell gourmet-ish and tiny food. It's tons of fun to see what it has.

I've seen stuff indicating that meatballs and meatloaf generally freeze and reheat well. I've been told in other places that while Cracklin' Chicken can be frozen and reheated, it's not really cracklin' much anymore.

They have a jump start guide that's $3 in paperback, $2 on Kindle. I picked up the actual book on Kindle for $2 or $3 last week as one of the Deals.

Some of these might fit: http://mariamindbodyhealth.com/holiday-gift-guide/ http://mariamindbodyhealth.com/top-10-kitchen-gadgets/ Butter! You can put butter in a stocking! ;)

I did too, until I started getting carsick.

Don't be silly, we love animals. They're tasty.

Thanks!

My 13-year-old (boy) is obsessed with the Ranger's Apprentice series. Stuff I remember reading around 9-10ish, or slightly older, so would probably all be age-appropriate for the most part:* Little Women * Little House on the Prairie (I think there's 8 books) * Nancy Drew series (or Hardy Boys - I read some of both!) - I…
