Down 4 or 5 I believe. Stalled the first week but made some changes now I'm losing again.

I stalled and gained a little when I started working out. I was getting really discouraged. Turns out, MFP was giving me the wrong calorie goal and I actually needed to be eating 500 more calories a day. Once I changed up my intake I dropped 4 lbs that week. I would definitely say you are not eating enough to fuel the…

Had a solid week. Got back in the gym after being sick last week and earned my rest day today! Weigh in tomorrow hopefully reflects my goal for February. I thought I had reached it before but it was more water weight than anything lost from being sick. So I stepped it up this week. No plans for the weekend, think we have…

BUMP as I would like to know the answer to this as well.

It's been a weird week for me. Been pretty sick so haven't really had the chance to eat well if at all. No exercise, which makes me feel super weird because I'm used to doing it now. Ready to get back on track. But have to take it slow as I had the stomach flu so I have to watch what I try to eat as to not feel gross again.
-
I was actually ok with not losing this week when I got on the scale because I knew that I had a couple bad days. So instead of giving up per usual, I patted myself on the back for not gaining.

It's that turning point I want to hit where I say to myself....don't eat that, go DO this. I've given myself the excuse that I'm still new to the eating right and working out process, but I can't do that. I know I can't do that. Prayers and hugs to the both of you for your trials right now.

Attitude is everything. I've definitely found that there are days I have to talk myself into going. I even attempted the hotel gym while out of town. Even if you go when you don't want to you'll be happy you did by the time you're done. Eventually it will become second nature and you will be asking yourself how you ever…

@c_leeee I just started the C25K this weekend! I'm looking forward to pushing myself through the days. Just starting to workout I thought the first 30min workout was going to kill me. But....alas....I LIVED! I'm an elliptical girl myself. Im just getting into a workout routine so I don't have any favorites aside from that…

* Continue getting my water in daily. * C25K * Find things to distract myself from boredom snacking.

WAY TO GO GIRL!

Way to go girl! Your old bad habits have transformed into your new GOOD habits! I'm looking forward to that day!

Have you checked out the nutritional value of anything there? Maybe you could find something you like that you are comfortable having within your calorie range. Then you wouldn't have to cut it out completely. :)

I realize this was posted a few months ago, but I just got back to MFP. My roommate and I are southsiders. Did you get this up and going?
-
Woohoo!!!

Welcome everyone! So exciting to see the group grow!

Great idea! I need to remember to look this up when I get home from work. I'll try to do it as well! No Pain No Gain :)

Hello all! I'm Natalie, 31 from Indianapolis, IN. I'm currently weighing in at 260 lbs shooting for a healthy 150-160. Single and living with my sister and one year old nephew. He's my motivation to get healthy. As he grows I want to be able to run and play and keep up with him and not have to tell him Aunt Nini has to…

I'm starting my journey tomorrow as I need to get in my cabinets and clean out the junk. I'm working towards a 100lb weight loss. My start weight is 260 (cringe). I'm looking forward to meeting lots of MFPers to join in this journey! Good Luck Everyone!

I'm so glad that I have come across this post, as I too have 100 lbs to lose and do the emotional eating. I've used MFP before but only used it for tracking. This time around I want to find support and read the success of others to keep me motivated. More than likely I will be friending everyone on this feed, I hope that's…

I just started yesterday. The fiber drink hurts my feelings. LOL. Luckily you only have to do it 6 days out of the total 24 and there are some days in between. I have heard good things about Advocare from a number of friends who have done the challenge. Every one of them had great success. I'm looking forward to the fact…
