I weigh out crisps/nuts etc and my boyfriend reaches for them. I'm like "NO - I WORKED FOR THESE." I go a bit mental over my logged food...

I would recommend against doing steaks in there - as all the juice drips out they're not as moist. Very good for seasoned chicken and veg/toasted sandwiches though. Happy grilling!

I'm 23 and I lost 30ish lbs over 6ish months (2 gym trips a week and 1400-1700 cals a day). Your goal is too short term - not only will you put it all back on again but you will be pretty miserable eating that little (as well as feeling all weak etc from not eating enough). Honestly - everyone will see the difference by…

Well done you!

1) How much weight did you lose? - 31lbs so far 2) How long did it take? - 4 months 3) What kind of exercise did you do? Indoor or Outdoor - Indoor as I have a bad back/joints so can't jog or do anything high impact. Need the gym equipment to avoid injury! 4) Starting Weight and Current Weight? - SW: 177ish lbs GW - 150lbs…

You look absolutely amazing - well done you for all your hard work!!! Absolute inspiration :)

I weigh myself once a week (sometimes twice if I'm feeling OCD) when I go to the gym on the weekend. I use the gym scales every time (big ones so they don't get moved around) in my gym gear without trainers. I weigh myself twice just to check the number is right before noting it down. I don't use any other scales now…

Yes. A calorie is a calorie, regardless of if you burn it running around like a maniac or swimming.

Awesome work! Well done you!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (also available in a larger version) which has no problem with MFP but the general phone is much slower than my partner who has a Sony Xperia. As long as you get an Android of Apple phone, MFP won't be a problem and weather apps/GPS are available on all of these as well. Probably more down…

I live in the UK and here we have supermarket cheap brands which are the best for a budget. E.g. A KG of rice might be £2.50 for a branded pack but Sainsburys Basics or Asda Smartprice will do the same thing for £1. Supermarkets do EVERYTHING in these ranges (everything from vodka to shampoo to lettuce). Meat and fish are…

Equipping myself with the right tools. Good kitchen scales, decent workout gear, a Fitbit and a good pair of trainers. Really gives you motivation and helps you stay on track. Good luck!

I wouldn't go under 1200 as a daily calorie intake. Maybe just bulk out foods with more veg instead of heavier options and do a little bit more exercise than you'd usually do. It's only a day or two so it's all good. I would make sure you log it though, just so you've kept track. Happy Birthday!

It's yummy on jacket potatoes or with wedges as a kind of dip. You can also use it in lasagne to make a lower fat sauce etc. I love cottage cheese!

No sweat (apart from maybe meat sweats harhar) Just go back to normal tomorrow. Maybe refrain from your usual treats for a few days if it makes you feel better but one day isn't going to derail everything. Yay pork!

I couldn't do it! I look forward to my dinner too much. I have big portions of veg to bulk out my meals and always look forward to having that bigger meal in the evening after healthy breakfast and lunch. Oh and I'm a huge fan of evening snacking :p

It's made such a difference!! Your stomach looks so much smaller and already has definition to it! Well done you!

I went on Amazon and downloaded running mixes for when I'm at the gym. There are loads of them in the Now! series, or from Ministry of Sound etc. Or I listen to these... Britney Spears - Work B!tch Will.i.am (any songs) David Guetta (everything has a great beat that helps you stay in rhythm) Dizzy Rascal (if you're walking…

If the 'fend for yourself' nights could be the problem, could you pre-make meals and freeze them for her? Maybe saying the family as a whole should be HEALTHIER (not skinnier) and changing some habits generally might help to not single her out. Buy skimmed milk, lower fat spread, seedy bread instead of white etc. My sister…

Don't worry about it - we all slip sometimes :) Don't fast, it's not healthy and will just cause problems. Eat as healthily as possible (without starving yourself) today and exercise if possible to help make up for breakfast. Think of calories when they're averaged out over the week. Be uber healthy over the next few days…

That is an AMAZING change! A million congratulations to you (and Jackie for helping you through it).

Please please please - do all of you get recipes for this stuff or do you make it up? I need to break my cous cous/salmon/veg cycle!
-
Well done to everyone on their triumphs - I love topics like this! Mine are: - 35 days on MFP - Found a new healthy place to get lunch Great work everyone!

You don't need to be rude to every single person you encounter.

Special K Multi Grain Porridge is amazing. Don't know if it fits your criteria but it's in my food diary for yesterday if you wanted to look :)

What on earth were you doing to burn 1579 calories??? you don't have to eat back your exercise calories so don't worry about that added on top
-
You've got more of a curve in your waist now and your tummy looks a bit flatter. Side on photos would help see a difference!

An avocado has about 200ish calories and can be used in a salad or in a sandwich If you don't just want to chomp one! Pasta is high calorie so eating a pasta dish instead of salad could help as well. Muesli, bread, cereals, steak etc all will provide a good 200 calories. Maybe bulk up your portion sizes? I can't see your…

Amazing work! I can see the difference all over you - from tummy to face. Well done you and stay on track for the extra 25lbs!

Quick weight loss is quite often difficult to maintain and will pop back on again as soon as you stop dieting so slow weight loss is generally preferable. Good luck!
