  • You have done it before when you say you lost 40 pounds. It is not going to be the same because our bodies dont retain the same metabolism over the years. You have to work harder this time. But your problem is consistency! You start and then you loose it at the end of the day. Find something that you can stick to. Do not…
  • Great Idea. Just what I wanted right now!!! Please add me to the group. Count me in. I will start tomorrow!! :flowerforyou:
  • Yesterday we went for our friends son's 1st birthday celebrations. And we went for Indian food. Normally I have 2 roti breads with lots of curries. Yesterday, I just had one roti with spoon of lamb and chicken curries, and was still with in my calorie goas. And I did not even taste the cake.
  • I get up at 4:30 am and workout for an hour and go to work at 6:30 to travel almost 1 hour 45 minutes. Leave office at 4:30 and come home at 6 to make dinner for myself and my husband. Sleep at 9 to get up early. I want to watch late night shows and go out to party too, but my priority is my health and there is always some…
  • Hi, I have Hypothyroid and PCOS too. It is difficult but not impossible to lose weight. You can do it!!! If your hormone levels are fine while you are taking the medicine, you are OK and normal. The worst thing you can do is to blame your hormones. I know its easier said than done, but stop comparing yourself to others.…
  • Seriously??? Such doctors should not be allowed to practise. They should be fired, and I insist that all doctors must pass an yearly global examination to keep them updated with new findings in health and medical line if they fail, their practise shoudl be siezed!!
  • Hi, I think you should visit the doctor for sure. You are showing some symptoms of PCOS but that does not mean you have it. Get your blood work done and also get your GP to have an ultrasound done to look at your ovaries for any physical cysts.
  • I went to another GP with my blood work and he was much better than this one. He clearly said that my FSH:LH ratio indicates PCOS and border line insulin resistant. Blood Sugar was normal. So, he said that I want to see if you are ovoluting or not. I have got another test done on 21 st day of my cycle without the pill. Let…
  • COMPLETELY AGREE!!! BEST POSSIBLE ! I am currently off the pill to see how my body reacts to the lack of artificial hormones and its been reall a Suckfest. My hair have become GREASY (Not oily), I can feel the grease when I rinse them, the dandruf has become more flakey and l am constantly itching my scalp like a serious…
  • Thanks, I am surprised that a dude can understand the havoc PCOS recks on us. I wish my husband was more keen to know what going on with me. He just asked, is everything OK, and I said No, then I had to take him through all the details that he should be knowing by now after 4 years of marriage. He would have never…
  • I am proud of doing my worout today getting up at 4:45 am.
  • I have done one round of MB this year and lost some weight quickly. Now I am struggling because I cant smash 400 calories daily on a 1200 calorie diet. And there is a super saturday where you are expected to burn 1000 calories. This is unrealistic. They discourage eating above that if you want to lose weight. Although I…
  • It has taken me six months to come to that figure of 1200 cals. You cannot judge anyone's calorie goals without even knowing the body type, height, age and underlying medical conditions. And if you have to lose fat or weight you must have a goal and a plan to work towards it. And calorie counting is just a tool. I said…
  • Thats it. Sums it up!
  • Mu inderstanding says that clean and healthy eating habbits take time to develop. Give your self some time and do not be harsh on your self. One trick is to find a healthier option or substitute of your guilt food. Like I have replaced my ice cream with flavoured yogurt, although it is high in sugar but not as high in fats…
  • Hi, Over estimating is better than under estimating. I recently confronted myself and admitted that I was underestimating. Now I am trying to over estimate, not too much but tiny little ammount, to make sue I am actually under and dont get over my calorie goal of 1200. I also get nervous as I approach my calorie allowance…
  • OK, I have to share this here. I have broken the pleateaue finally. I am down by one pound. I could not break in below the 68 kilo mark, was hovering around 68.4, 68.6, 69.0, 68.0 and finally i saw 67.8 and today it was 67.6. So around one pound below 68 mark in almost 2 months. I think the calorie cycling worked. I…
  • I have been pleateaued since 2 months :( tried cycling calories, reduced, increased, changed workout routine..nothin works right now.
  • Someone was chatting with me and she told me that she was not losing weight anymore. I asked her, has she measured and she replied ,"I never measure myself, I just want to get skinny".
  • I dont exercise at all for first 4 days because mother nature is really cruel to me. I start exercise slowly from the 5th day and avoid inverted yoga poses and crunches. For cravings,I allow myself around 200 extra calories and try to beat my cravings by having one controlled treat each day like a hot chocolate or a small…
  • Chicken - not boiled..nice roasted one..fills me up and tastes soooooo good!
  • IT is not possible to build muscles for a woman in just one or two months. IT takes more than a few months for that to happen if you are on a calorie deficit diet.
  • Hi, If I was you, I would log my activity based on how I feel after my day at work. Also the fact that you wear your heart rate monitor, can help you. We all burn calories even at rest, but I would count the phases when my heart rate went up and I felt it.
