  • [="aggelikik;35029960"] What makes you think you would use any other machine? But I can't remember which machine gave best burn so thought I'd ask if anyone recommended a particular machine. A…
  • Thanks guys.... Hmmm yes I do have a knee injury too but rowing has never hurt it before so should be ok. I did state above in OP that treadmill can now only be used for walking. The reason I ruled it out is that it's been sat there all this time and ive not used it so prob isn't my number 1 choice . Thanks everyone

  • Thank you, you have been so helpful!! I have been reading all the links, several times lol I think its making sense now. Im not too concerned on time frame to lose it, but I dont want it to take forever. 10lb a month would be great, but il be disappointed if I put in so much effort if its anything less than 7lb a month.…
  • Thank you. I have looked into this and found it useful. Depending what site you use to get the calculations depends on the answers as there is a variation so Im going with that my BMI is 1519, my TDEE is 2584 based on my intention to work out 3-5 days a week for an hour making my activity level as moderate. So am I right…

  • This to me actually made alot of sense!! It may not be for every one but I get where youre coming from on it. Well done :) and thanks for sharing :)

  • Im from Essex :) Feel free to add me :)
  • Iv done alot of research into this, both here, online and people i know who have knowledge. Every one has said the same thing to me.....to lift at a calorie deficit and add a couple of cardio sessions in. This will enable me to lose body fat whilst retaining as much lean body mass as possible. I start strong lifts in April…
  • Strong lifts 5x5 is a good programme. Iv not started it yet as im just completing p90x but il be starting in April. There is lots of info on here and online about it, maybe look it up and see what you think. Its a good methodical programme, not complicated and do-able. What ever you choose, good luck and enjoy :)
  • Hi Lee, WOW!! Well done you on both accounts!! Losing weight is hard and giving up the smokes is also hard, Iv poersonal experience of both. Its been 10 years with the smokes for me :) but im still trying to lose some weight, which im slowly winning :) Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing your progress!! x

My BF is quite high, somewhere between 35-38% according to the tickets i get from gym machine so not sure how accurate that is. Id love to get it checked…
