I have high blood pressure and I've been struggling since I was 12 to get it under control.

It's taken me about a year to lose almost 30 pounds. I have my calories set for 1 pound per week but I don't always follow. I try my best though and I'm doing it slowly but surely.

Lots of times I'll make frozen vegetables with something extra in them. Like fire roasted corn, or potatoes with a little low fat cheese melted on top

Congrats! I've never been pregnant myself but I've heard that you shouldn't try to lose too much while you're pregnant but if you eat healthy during your pregnancy it'll be a lot easier to lose your baby weight and any more after you give birth.
