I took in my 4 month old granddaughter Dec. 19, 2008. At the beginning I never thought of my weight, until she started moving, moving, and moving, then I realized I need to in better shape. I knew I needed to loose weight.

Great idea, I was just craving some Ice cream. I asked my boss to go and get me some. She said NO!, we are trying to loose weight, maybe I won't tell her about this great idea. lol:laugh:

I think it's harder when you are close to your goal. When you are heavier, and you start working out, your body, isn't used to it, and you loose more pounds. I think it's okay that you have only lost .5 pounds. Since you only started this month, next month will go better for you. good luck

I race walk, I feel better that running. I'm not so out of breath. I walk 2 1/2 to 3 miles during my lunch break, and I feel so much better. I know I wouldn't feel that way if I ran. Plus I have to go back to work, and I am a little sweaty, but not enough to smell bad for everyone else. lol

It's okay. You just pick yourself up, and go on. I love food. So it's hard not just go thru and order anything I want. I do treat myself thou. I went to Berger King, and ordered a Whopper Jr. and Fries. Then I ate light for my other meal. I was steal under my calorie intake. I don't think I could do diets without some junk…

I kind of rest on the week-ends. I do arobics for 10 on Sat & Sun. evenings, then walk 2 miles a day Mon-Fri. I seems to be okay. I have lost 8 lbs in 6 weeks. I am trying to go slow as will. I would like to loose 40 lb. I just don't want to do it all at once.
