  • Switched to Lean schedule after a week of Classic block 2. It was very painful on my neck and I didn't get a kick out of the workouts either. It has been going well, until Valentine's day weekend hit me! Last 2 days have been lots of eating and no exercise. SO I am catching up with doubles and a strict "no crap" week.
  • I switched from Classic to Lean for block 2 but I only just completed week2 of block2. I lost 1 kg in 2 weeks. Lost a total of 4 cms all over my midriff and hips. I feel "leaner" and fitter and I like the workouts better. I think we need to wait to the end of the transition week to judge the results. P90X3 is a game of…
  • Yes! I have sinusitis so I know how painful it can be. I would stick to taking a walk now (to maintain the habit) and doing doubles when I have fully recovered. This is what I did when I had the flu 2 weeks back.
  • Thanks everyone for weighing in! It has been very helpful. Response to my calorie burn: I dont think I can burn anymore, my average heart rate in the cardio workouts is around 160 and my maximum heart rate is 173. At this point I'm "passing out"! So that gives me confidence that I'm trying my best. Indeed during the…
  • I am not burning enough calories on the 2nd circuit! Only about 200kcal each with the Eccentric Upper and Lower. I used 4kg weight. How can I increase my calorie burn and workout effectiveness?
  • I missed "Eccentric Upper" and "Incinerator" days. So I am doing doubles on saturday and sunday to catch up. :) It's working for me!

  • So happy that block 2 is starting today. Feels like I have reached a milestone. YAY ME! I am proud that - I did all workouts of Block1. - I've lost 2 kilos and cms all over. - I am close to buying a size smaller pants :D - I look forward to my workout everyday (this one's the most awesome) - I feel so much fitter and…
  • Almost reached for a giant cookie today, but UAC stopped me! :) February 3rd Did I exercise for 20+ minutes? Yes (resistance workout) Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
  • I have the same question too! I do all my workouts barefoot because I have weak plantar fascia and wearing running shoes gives me incredible pain in my heel and the entire bottom of my feet. Any advice on shoes for plyo workoputs for people with foot issues?
  • February 2nd Did I exercise for 20+ minutes? - Yes (60 minutes) Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? - yes!! Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? -yes :)
  • Week 5 starts Monday for me! Looking forward to it. The "eccentric upper" is so P90X. :D

  • Hi Everyone! I am Anu and I live in the Netherlands. I am doing P90X3 but I need more accountability with my calorie intake so this challenge is perfect for me. It is my first attempt at UAC. Good to us all!
  • It was sooo difficult! and unsatisfying! :( Plus I burnt only 125 kcals. The side planks and side sphinx are impossible for me. But I loved to see Tony struggle with the Pretzel. It's what got me through the workout. They should have a "normal" person in every workout video :) Also the "modifier" is barely modifying…
  • I am finding this week too relaxed. Will do doubles of Accelerator and Dynamix this evening because I missed it yesterday. My eating hasn't been up to scratch either. Hope to get it right from now on. (Big pot of veggie and lean beef stew bubbling away)
  • Week 3 done! I missed Yoga this week but I'll try to squeeze it into week 4. Off to try Isometrix today. :) Hope you are feeling better Katyanne.
  • Hi! I'm on week 4 of P90X3 and loving it. I haven't seen much weight loss yet (Around 0.5 kilo). But I am starting to see cms come off and I have decided to concentrate on dress size/measurements instead. For the meal plan, I am following the one from P90X2 (which is available online). P90X3 has about the same plan. If you…
  • I'm on week3 The Warrior, I am also behind on this weeks schedule so doubling up tomorrow with CVX and Dynamix :) Looking forward to new workouts next week!
  • Total Syn: done and dusted! 220kcal burnt :) Will order a pull up assist this evening because I don't like the chair assist anymore.
  • You have a good point! My give up point is around the 6th week. I will try to push through this time. My strategy is to not starve myself so I've upped my calorie intake from 1200 to 1500. I've been feeling much more energetic since. Thanks for the great advice! You do have a point about my body being used to these yo-yo…
  • I have had the flu for 2 days but am back on track today. I did CVX today and pushed myself to my physical and mental limits. Tomorrow I'll do the warrior and dynamix. So I've skipped The Challenge this week. I've lost only 400grams since I started (that I attribute to the flu ) but I don't care! I'm doing everything right…
  • Week2 Yoga: done! 124kcal burnt, good stretch :)
  • I came rushing home from work to fit in AgilityX before rushing off to dinner with old friends. That was a big win for me because it is something I would NEVER have done in the past! I am proud of myself and how I subconciously prioritize exercise now. :) AgilityX was also easier than last week but consequently I had a…
  • I'm totally surprised at how much better I did at Total Synergistics today. Last week I couldn't do more than 2-3 reps of the crazy crunch variations, boat/plow and Brannon boat. This week I did 6-7 reps. Everything seemed do-able and fun! Same burn as last week: 220kcal. My sore muscles actually feel much better AFTER…
  • I have the Geonaute onrhythm 410. It is a basic model with no fancy features (bluetooth etc) and it works wonderfully!
  • I did Dynamix and was very happy I did because it was the stretch I needed. 200kcal burnt :) Starts all over tomorrow...
  • CVX is brutal! I burnt 350kcal in 30 mins  I'm sure gonna feel the after effects all day :)
  • Also since I did not many reps per set, I filled in the time with random cardio exercises like jumping jacks and high knees.
