I use MyProtein impact whey powder in the salted caramel flavour, which is so delicious I sometimes do extra workouts simply to justify having another shake

I got a cracked rib mid-Dec. The doctor advised to lay off the exercise for a fortnight and by the time that fortnight was up, it didn't hurt so much anymore and I went straight back in to my running regime. I'd say take some time off to allow yourself to recover. There's not much you can do because anything that causes…

I would recommend (from personal experience) upping your calorie intake if you're feeling weak and dizzy. In terms of how many calories is enough: you will get different answers from different sources and every body has different needs so be patient and go with trial and error. Up your calories a bit, see if that gets rid…

Thank you, Ssime1980 - that makes sense to me :)

Thanks, Snowmaniac. Using sedentary TDEE and eating back exercise cals sounds much more up my street. Christmas happened since that photo was taken, but I take your point. Will be alert to any adverse physical response. Very much obliged!

But does that mean going below that NET? E.g. if my BMR is 1400 and I burn 200 calories from exercise one day, should my minimum calorie intake that day be 1400 (BMR) or 1600 (NET BMR)?

Hi OP, thanks for sharing. I'm in quite a similar position to you - even down to the fact that my partner works from home. I have been through the whole getting frustrated with him-encouraging him-getting frustrated again cycle and none of it made any difference at all. What has made a difference for us is that I…

So happy with this thread. Well done, folks

Your husband sounds like a real diamond - lucky you! OP - if he's a good guy, be patient. If he's used to treating himself with food, then of course he's gong to want to feel like he's treating you too if you're the girl he loves. Good men are hard to find and if food pushing is the worst you get from him, I'd say he's…
