"I'm obsessed with peanut butter I'd rather cut my arm off then give it up. I take my 2 tablespoons then put it back on the top shelf. Moderation is the name of the game." ^ ^ ^THIS! I've successfully lost weight and I still have trail mix and a glass of wine almost every night. It's all about portion control. You don't…

Awesome thanks! I'm gonna try this tomorrow! I rarely go above 6.2, so this should be interesting ;)

yay! i have 3 and want a few more :) i hate that i have to hide them at work : /

i love it with a bit of hot sauce on it...yummmm

Technically it's possible to lose eating junk food as long as you still have a calorie deficit...that being said, just because you can get skinny eating exclusively junk food doesn't mean you are necessarily HEALTHY! however, i truly believe moderation is key. i love my fruits and veggies, but if i couldn't have a glass of…

oh and another suggestion: get in a routine and know EXACTLY how much of everything u need for a typical week. i'm not very good at this, but my fiance has it down to an exact science for himself haha. that way u dont waste any food. it's kinda monotonous though...

i have limited money to spend on grocery shopping too, but i always buy fresh fruits & veggies first and use them for the bulk of my meals. and bananas are always super cheap...they're a lifesaver! i also buy frozen veggie burgers and canned soup. my personal downfall is wanting to buy stuff like nuts or trail mix...i love…

the breakfast club. i saw pitch perfect with a friend in theaters today and they kept referencing the breakfast club, which made me realize i've never seen it! i know, i know, it's a classic, i should have scene it long before this haha

I'm 5'3"...currently 135-ish lbs. and a size 6 in pants. (They are usually tight in the waist though...). My goal is 120 and a size 4...my 18-year-old self haha

BUFFALO BILLS!!!!! i will always be a diehard fan. (i know, i know...i'm already bracing myself for the jokes)
-
cheese peanut butter trail mix wine the list goes on... trail mix is probably the worst for me as far as binge snacking...i used to get it in bulk from wegmans but i can't control my portion sizes so i've stopped buying it recently...sigh

pizza & wine! or a "chik'n" finger sub with lots of hot sauce and blue cheese...yummm then some cookies or ice cream for dessert... i'm confused, how is sushi a cheat meal? it's so low calorie!

I first met him on an annual ski trip with a bunch of family friends when I was 13 or 14. My friend's brother had brought him along. We were just acquaintances for the next few years and only saw each other a few times a year (we lived close but went to different high schools), but I always had a crush on him. We didn't…

I'm from Buffalo, NY, so we are notorious for chicken wings! With bleu cheese, NOT ranch. Blech. Although I'm a vegetarian so I don't even eat them anymore, but I still put Franks Hot Sauce on everything to get that "buffalo chicken" flavor ;)

YUM. i pretty much only eat the instant version myself, but this article just may change my mind.

thanks guys, these all sound delicious! i love love LOVE goat cheese, so i def like the idea of pairing some with the grilled veggies :)

YES!!! Maybe this will finally be the year for Buffalo...HOW ABOUT THEM BILLS! :)

Haha I wouldn't be worried at all. My fiance and his friends all wanna see it because it looks funny and they joke about having a "man crush" on Matthew McConahey. I wanna see it because of Channing Tatum, obviously! Seems like a win-win situation to me. Relax people, it's just a movie.

supposed to be 87 and sunny today in Buffalo :)

4 and a half years. We are young too (24 and 25), and started dating when we were 19 and 20. I was pestering him to propose for a year or so, but he held out until this past Christmas Eve :) We also lived together for over a year before we got engaged. Have you guys had an open conversation about this? Maybe he's afraid…

Definitely go get it checked out. That sounds a lot like what happened to me last summer while running. I ended up walking around on it for another 2 weeks before I went to an orthopaedic doctor...and it ended up being a stress fracture that got so bad I needed surgery to put pins it. The Dr. told me I was lucky it hadn't…

I'm currently up to 10 or 11 miles without stopping on my long runs at about a 10-11 min mile, but I am definitely not a born 'runner.' So I have faith you can do it! I found that slowing down helped me to be able to run for longer. For me personally, I'd rather have the endurance to go long-distance rather than being able…

haha exactly! me too!

apple :( great for wearing flowy shirts and dresses because my arms & legs are tiny bad for bikinis and just about everything else LOL

I don't understand people who think in broad generalizations like that. What's right for one couple may not be right for another. I lived with my fiance for a year & a half before he proposed...we both thought it was important to live together first. I'm pretty sure there are bigger problems in society than two unmarried…

bump! can't wait to try this later

Nope...I love me my carbs, and I don't really see how that's a bad thing. Most of the carbs I eat are whole grain, complex carbs...the "good for you" kind so to speak. Now bring on my bowl of cereal! ;)

WAAAYYY too much...like sometimes 5+ times per day. I obviously don't record all of those weights but I'm just curious. It's probably a good thing my scale is currently low on battery though...I think I need a break from it!
-
My most recent (and probably best) 5k time was 29:07 :) I'm not fast, but I'm steady...I try to aim right under a 10-min-mile. It seems to work for someone like me who isn't a born runner. Good luck on your race!!! How exciting!
