Don't worry about the eating before bed myth, it's all a load of nonsense. I don't sit down to eat my main meal until at least 9:30pm so if it was true I should be the size of a house. (I'm not. ) Be as honest as you can with the calories you eat and drink and stick to your daily goals. Don't overdo it on the…

Although I am only nearly halfway through There have been a few surprises some good, one bad. I tried on a suit for work which I thought was a certain size, feeling chuffed that it fit. Only to discover it was actually a size smaller than I thought, made me feel even better. I know longer feel out of breath when I walk and…

My weight loss is for a wedding as well. My sister gets married in 52 days :) I, on the other hand have been married and divorced twice and you won't catch me doing it again lol. In all seriousness, congratulations and I wish you all the best for the future. xx

So far I have only tried calorie counting and a bit more exercise than what I would normally do and it seems to be working but I'm sure I will hit a plateau at some time. I have thought that when I do I will switch it up to another system like the 5:2 but feel free to ask for moral support tomorrow. Good luck

Selection 1 will give you about 15g of fat and selection 2 will give you about 4g of fat, if that is any help. Edited to add, don't forget pesto is made from blending herbs with olive oil.

You've had all the buy a scale and weigh your food properly advice you can probably take, but looking through your diary I can't fail to notice that you do not log your drinks. You really need to do this as these too add calories to your daily amount. I can drink nearly 200 calories a day, but they have to come off my…

Hi I'm Peni from Lytham. This is the first time I have given dieting a serious go. When I joined I had 54lb to lose and I am having a real go at shifting it. I walk and cycle and am thinking of joining the ladies only gym we have here.

One thing to keep in mind is that it blocks the bodys ability to digest and absorb fat, hence the anal leakage. Remember some vitamins are fat-soluble and need to piggy back on it to be digested.

Nobody enjoys a drink more than myself but when I decided to lose weight I had to accept that alcohol would be severely rationed. Everything that goes into your mouth needs to be measured accurately and logged. If you want to drink have a white wine spritzer (white wine and club soda) it lasts longer than a glass of wine,…

Studies show that artificial sugar stimulates the same hormonal and metabolic responses of real sugar. As you eat fake sweetener, receptors in your brain and gut anticipate getting calories from sugar; in response, your body releases the fat-storage hormone insulin. You want to cut out diet soda out completely, but if…

UMMM mussels, poached in a white wine, shallot and chive liquor, finished with a dash of cream and served with fresh white crusy bread. My mouth is watering just thinking about them

Is it coke you don't like or just diet coke? If you like coke just not the diet stuff (like myself) then coke zero has a great taste. Most pubs stock slimline tonic which is great with ice and lemon.

Congrats, well done :drinker:

I could never date anyone younger than myself (I'm 46) but my partner who I love to bits is 20 years older than myself. I have always been into older men.
