Does anyone know if there is a food scale that actually measures the amount of calories , fat and sodium grams when you put the food on the scale? I know it sounds far fetched but with the age of modern technology i would expect it to hit the market one of these days

My food scales shows those numbers and it's a scale bought from an austrian almost no-name brand.

Well... it shows if you input the code of that food (camed with a broshure with 999 foods) so it does not show on every product you may think about. It's the basic generic vegetables, fruits, meats, dairies and so on. Compared with the numbers of generic foods here on MFP, they are similar.

Thanks for the info . When i saw the link i said wow awesome but i have a few worries.
1. Is it trader joe friendly along with other supermarkets and chain food outlets. ? the drop down food menu on MFP has that feature.
2. If the fat , calories and sodium input on the scale dont match up with MFP food drop down menu then what to i do?
