  • I just started using a DVD by Jackie Warner. It's called "Personal Training With Jackie: 30 Day Fast Start." There is an upper body (roughly 25 min) and lower body workout (roughly 25 min) with an option to do it all together. The workout uses a pyramid format where you work your way up to 10 reps (you do 55 reps total for…
  • I just started this week. I like that it prompts you to run, walk, etc so you don't have to keep track of the time.
  • It was great until I lost it. It came out of the supplied clip so I am rather disappointed with it in that aspect. It did provide some great info not to mention motivation.
  • I used Northwest Cryobank for both of my children. They were friendly, very easy to work with and relatively inexpensive.
  • I have both the FT7 and the bodymedia. The FT7 is based upon heartrate only and in order to get that info, you have to be wearing the strap. The bodymedia doesn't measure heartrate per se, but it takes into account other information. It's a lot easier for me to wear it 24/7 so I think I get more accurate data at the end of…
  • Turning 40 next month and never having an actual girlfriend. I used to blame my career (Air Force), but now .... I just don't know how to meet someone.
  • I do a few days a week. I do 30 minutes of cardio in the morning and then 30 DS/weight training 3 nights a week.
  • I get up at 0445, Monday thru Friday and I generally go to be around 9 p.m. I try to sleep in a little later on the weekends. ;)
  • I'm Active Duty Air Force and I think we are Force Support officers now. My career field has changed titles in the last few years. ;)
  • I'm not either. The only fruit I really like is apples. I can handle cherry preserves too, but don't care for fresh cherries. As far as veggies, I like a few as long as they are raw. I eat A LOT of salads with cukes, green peppers, carrots, and romaine lettuce.
  • There are quite a few things you can do on an exercise ball. Crunches, bridges, walkouts, weight training .... the list goes on. Here's a website that gives some workout suggestions: http://www.exerciseballworkouts.net/
  • I mix it with black pepper, green peppers, or yogurt. However, I'm also going to try switching to greek yogurt because of the sodium. I was shocked to find out how much sodium I eat in a day so I'm trying to find ways to cut it.
  • I don't lose either and actually tend to gain 2-3 lbs. My diet and fitness levels don't change, but I still gain. Of course, that minor gain drops off a few days after my cycle ends. IMO, I would keep doing what you normally do with your diet, etc.
  • I've tried several and agree the Optimum Nutrition tastes the best!
  • I haven't found any indoor pools. While I live in Northwest Florida, the mornings are a bit brisk even if the outdoor pool is heated. I'll look into it though.

  • I would log it as calisthenics.
  • I don't know it's technical name, but there is a machine that's looks like a bike for your upper body. I used it for rehab of my shoulder, but I knew a lot of people with bad knees that used it for cardio.
