Because of my bad relationship with carbs and overeating them. If I avoid them completely I would have an easier time than trying to moderate the amount of them I eat. Ive also read alot about how it helps with weightloss and fat burning. I have around 80 pounds I need to drop to get to a healthy BMI. Also its something…

Thats what im mainly focusing on now, my diet has gotten pretty bad and im trying to get back on track with my macros and calorie intake. Ive looked up my BMR so am going to work off of that. I also started doing IF again which has helped me alot in the past as im a snacker so it keeps my snacking under control and helps…

I have an internet connection because its included in the rent, all my utilities are included in my rent. If you don't know someones situation you don't really have the right to say that I should change my priorities. My current financial situation as I have mentioned in another reply is currently that I don't know if I…

Thanks for all the replies! You guys have given me a lot of ideas so I am more hopeful now lol. If I ever do come into better times and can get to a gym I'll be a very happy girl but for now I think I can do it on my own :)

We dont have netflix lol we are two people on a one person salary living in a very expensive city. Believe me if I even had a little bit to spare on a gym membership Id have one. My financial situation is very dire atm which is one of the reasons I have such high anxiety right now since I dont know if I'll have a place to…

Ive been avoiding processed foods like that plague haha I could probably do with more veggis. Its just difficult when the rest of the house are burger eaters. Im going to have to try and convert them lol

I havent noticed any change there but maybe i should try it for awhile never know

I might be concentrating on eating small portions too much. I have noticed i get full alot quicker. Maybe i need to up it abit.Im pretty sure i eat around 12-1500 cals a day right now but i will be uping it for when i work out harder. Ill try eating larger portions for a few days see if that helps

I dont log my food, i can never stick to it everyday ha. I do eat a low carb, low sugar diet and try to get my daily amount of protein in everyday. Its difficult when living with 3 other people who arent dieting but i think ive done pretty good on the skipping sugary or high fat snacks.Maybe thats why im hungry, everyone…

Theres a beachbody workout called brazilian butt lift which is specifically for all those regions maybe check that out. Ive not personally done it but ive heard alot of good about it.

Yea i make sure im always hydrated. I drink my 2-3 lt of water daily so its definitely not a hydration issue. Im wondering if its from the constant tilt tuck tighten from the HHA videos just making my abdomen swell a little. Its never longer then a half an hour after working out

Ive seen alot of people say they dont see anything until after week 2 which is normal it takes your body a little while to adjust and to start loosing fat and gaining muscle. Theres a saying it takes 4 weeks for you to notice something your friends notice after 8 and the rest of the world after 12 or something like that…

I find using negativity to push yourself while exercising helps me. I repeat all the bad things that happen to me , the people who hurt me and i use that pain to push through the burn and really go at it. It seems to help me. When my life partner and i fight ( we are in similar situations ) i use that negativity to push me…

They actually change lighting in stores to draw you to things. Its kind of sick that they toy with people to make a profit but thats what big corporations do i guess
-
So right, dont think i cant have that think i choose not to put that in my body. I choose to be happy and healthy. I dont feel bad about not snaking or eating burger king (theres one literally a 2 minute walk from my house with 5$ meal deals). I actually get grossed out by fast food now. I worked at Mcdonalds for 2 years,…

Absolutelty not unrealistic my mom is 59 and shes recently lost 40 pounds. Its all about motivation. Maybe just try little goals for now like 10 pounds is your first goal then another 10 pounds and just concentrate on little amounts that add up
-
170 and between 10-12, 10 is too small but 12 is too big. Not many stores that sell size 11 jeans lol
-
because i have literally seen the words "and remember muscle weighs more then fat" on a weight loss blog just this morning .........
-
I had my body fat % checked on the regular so i know exactly how much fat was lost and how much muscle was gained and where even got it on paper and no where did i say you shouldnt weight lift as an average joe ..... im pretty sure a few posts ago i even said what a benefit it is to losing weight
-
what exactly did i take literal? The question was what about competitive bodybuilders. Theyre diet and workout would differ substantially from someone who is just trying to lose 10 pounds
-
Yes months because unfortunately not all of us can afford one longer then that... also during that time i lost over 50 pounds and gained several pounds in muscle so no im not clueless. Peoples need to make someone look a fool on here is sad. This is supposed to be a support group but rather things get taken too literal or…
-
and that sir is pure ignorance. Just because youve never seen it doesnt mean it doesnt happen. Do you see air no yet it still exists. I have seen it countless times and have had countless arguments about it.
-
Im talking about the average joe not body builders. In my opinion a body builders lifestyle isnt healthy anyways but thats not the point. Youre taking things im saying far too literal. This is about fitness goals for losing weight not becoming mister america. I know when i started going to the gym id get discouraged…
-
Its a common misconception and gives some people false expectations when it comes to working out and weight training. Now when i talk working out i mean cardio and weight training the whole shabang not just running ... since you can actually lose muscle while running.
-
Precisely
-
Exactly ... a pound is a pound
-
You shouldnt really be weight training whilst eating a low calorie diet. as mentioned above i was told to eat a min of 2000 calories a day by my personal trainer. When i read muscle weighs more then fat ... that makes no sense to me. A pound is a pound ... 10 pounds is 10 pounds no matter the size of the object
