Definitely in the same boat. Back to logging (8 day streak - get me!) My inspiration is that I do not want to go to France in July feeling frumpy!

Hi there, I just started a new job which, when I'm up to speed, will include lots of hours (I work in a Cardiac/Thoracic hospital). Lots of studying is involved and I get really exhausted with all the information buzzing round my brain. Tracking on MFP has gone out the window since I started and I need to get back on it!…

That's true success and commitment - well done indeed

Which 10k runner did you use? I regularly run 8k (at least twice a week) plus either a longer run of 13k or a long bike ride as well. The 13k is a bit of struggle in as much my legs really feel it afterwards.

Fantastic transformation. You need to change your name though as you certainly aren't Kellyfatbelly anymore - more like Kellyfitbelly!

I get headaches quite frequently after running and make sure I am sufficiently hydrated. It doesn't seem to make a huge difference but regardless, hydration is crucial. If I drink too much it sits around my waist making me bloated! As others have mentioned, best to see the GP. Good luck

Sugar free jello (aka jelly in UK) with a little fruit added to it before it sets. I eat it with fat free cottage cheese (high in protein) and it's yummy

Well done - I can only dream (nightmare really) of running a marathon. But never say never - I didn't think I could run and managed a 10k in 1 hour last week! Congratulations.

It's win, win, win all the way especially as you're doing it together. Great stuff!

MapMyRun gives me 533 for 5miles/8k run in 54 minutes but this formula gives me only 365 (I weigh 116lbs). This is frankly depressing and doesn't seem to correlate to the amount of effort I am putting in. Especially when you think that 10,000 steps roughly correspond to 500 calories. However even though I don't eat all my…

Someone wrote 'you only fail if you stop' which is so true. I've been logging for a teeny 186 days or so and thus far I've learned to actually enjoy my food. I now look forward to meals rather than dread them which I did for years. So many 'bad' foods that I couldn't/shouldn't eat ..... Now I just budget for anything and…

Oh wow look at you. Keep going ........ and well done!

So jealous of the blue skies ....... Looking out at grey clouds here in the UK

Good for you and good luck on your journey back to health and a new life! I'm sending you a friend request.

Many of the good running shops will do a free video analysis of you running on their treadmill. They will fit you with running shoes which are appropriate for your gait and they won't necessarily be the most expensive ones either. Good luck and don't give up!

"oh wow you look so slim, so pretty and so young" I'm 58! Also my partner is super proud of me for running 13k twice in a week (although I have to say I was absolutely knackered afterwards ......

Keep going and keep taking progress pics

OMG I can hardly believe my eyes. Absolutely incredible, and you look so proud of yourself which is exactly what you should be. Well done!

Well done to you - what a difference a year/85lbs lost makes. And good luck on your RN course.

Thanks guys - I shall have a look for those

A Daily Mindset - a daily mantra. Coupled with daily tracking and a go get it attitude = win, win, win. Fabulous!

Well done - you look great!

Sweaty Betty are fantastic. Yes they're expensive but they do have sales. They're also super flattering, comfortable and made of fabulous high tech material which wicks away sweat and doesn't lose shape or colour. And no, I don't work for them :)

You are already a mega hottie!
-
Awesome - well done you! I drink diet coke but I use it as a treat.

I'm another one who feels the cold although I'd rather be too cold than too hot as you can always put on layers and move around to warm up; it's more difficult to cool down.

Try purple shampoo and conditioner on your hair - it will stop it from becoming brassy.

I stumbled across this post and I'm definitely going to try chelated Mg to help my broken sleep/anxiety/getting up in the night issues. I haven't slept more than 4 hours in one go for years :(

What a cracker of a photo and an incredible transformation. You must be super pleased that your efforts have been so handsomely rewarded - do please smile in your next photo :)

So what if you're slow! I'm slow! I don't accurately time myself, I just go out and run. There are enough pressures at work and elsewhere and I run to free myself from them for a while, get some fresh air and sunshine and not compete with anyone else or myself either. To say that you 'suck' is a measure of competition and…
