Seems like an extreme form of woosh. Maybe your scale just doesn't do small adjustments? How old is it?
-
My coworker didn't for her first and second tri, but now she's in third and has started tracking. Turns out she was really low on protein so she can fix that.
-
Your body can only utilize so much energy from fat per day, so...math?

When I look at my diary on a certain day it says I went 500 calories over on eating, it just doesn't count the negative at all. When I look online, the negative is counted and I'm around 100 under goal for that day.
-
I noticed this last week too, it worked on the laptop but not on the app. Weird.
-
She'll be eating more, which helps set her up for maintenance.
-
Switch. You are within 50 pounds of goal.
-
Because you know I'm all about the peeps, bout the peeps. No choc'late.

Using the app, so easy just go into goals and put your current weight and goal weight. Set it at sedentary and give yourself a goal of losing less than a half kilo per week. With so little to lose you have to take it slow or risk losing lean body mass instead of fat. When you work out put the workout in and it will tell…

I made a 2 year plan for my goal (90 pounds). It seemed impossible until I saw monthly breakdowns and my planned non scale victories. So far it's been great to check off my goals! You can do this!
-
It's not considered a plateau until 6 weeks of no scale movement. Sadly water will often hide loss. Have you been exercising more? Where are you in your cycle?
-
Ok, are you on the app or desktop website? And what are your stats anyway? )height, age, weight, daily activity level, etc)
-
Didn't you post awhile ago about starting to smoke to lose weight? And walking like 12 miles a day?
-
Eating what you like makes the transition much easier at first. Have you plugged in your stats to get a calorie goal yet?
-
Not in my anecdotal experience. I eat less on sedentary days unless I pay close attention.
-
If you are working out you can probably eat more than 1200/day.
-
I have to wake up and start again every single day, making choices every hour of the day. It's not something people get right all the time.
-
They are not. Mine goes up and down by 10%, I think it has to do with my dehydration levels more than my body fat.
-
I haven't posted daily but I have been drinking 8-12 cups daily. Can't believe it's been nearly 3 weeks already, this was a much easier adjustment than I thought it would be.
-
Is that calories added by exercise? What is your net daily goal?
-
Have to say I love Nikki's consistency and value the entertainment I get from these different diet discussions. Hope some lurkers get some good from the discussions.

Timely for Easter. Found several versions online but don't think I would do any of them. I do love eggs but the rest of the diet is trash.
-
I use the measuring tape and side by side photos. Memory, especially with slow and steady progress, can be deceiving.
-
I didn't used to like water, but a filter has really helped that situation.
-
I credit my diet soda as the reason I can avoid chocolate and other high calorie sweet treats. A diet Dew or Pepsi Max a day, here. Now if I could find a way to kick salty snacks. Lol

If the skin on the knee was tight, the knee would be unable to bend. You want loose skin around your knees. Very few knees actually look good by themselves. My grandad was constantly boggled by mini skirts because "who wants to look at a knee?" Apparently he wasn't a leg guy, but I took that to heart as a kid and didn't…

The time I mentioned it on MFP (suggesting a person could take a walk and eat an apple as she was still hungry and out of calories) I was told my thought was disordered. So I don't suggest that anymore. Lol

My coworker commented yesterday that he liked my pants and they looked good on me. They aren't new by any means, I've worn that pair of trousers to work many times, which tells me that my weight loss has made the clothing look good. Beyond that my husband has noticed. And that's all, lol.

Ha! I ran endless flights of stairs in my sleep, must have gotten agitated about it because the dog licked my elbow until I woke up. Come on dog, I could have burned 100 more dream calories!

I'm not sure what the Mirena has to do with anything? Especially as you say you've lost with it before. And it looks like you're seeing success, losing inches and 7.5 pounds in 5 weeks is really quite good.
