I love the dumping syndrome phrase haha. Yea I've had pain but never really thought it was my gallbladder (didn't know the symptoms) and yesterday I was curled in bed and in tears. So here I am. Two nights in the hospital for me. I will just play by ear and use caution. Thanks everyone. (I don't know what I would do…

I am 25 now so close in age when you got it too. Some things I am reading have such a large variety of foods that I'd practically not eat anything. Which scares me because I'm a picky eater. Some people say it's trial by fire and see what you can eat. But greasy foods are pretty much a guarantee. Going to miss my fast food…

Hey guys, this is my first post. I started this weekend at 208. Today I am at 207.4. I'd like to be down to my "typical" weight around 190 by Christmas. I had knee surgery in June and am just about to 100%, but still building muscle. :-) excited to have partners in this!

I relate to you 150%. I really don't know what else to say but that. It gave me great relief reading this post. That I wasn't the only one. I thought it was just me :-D So happy and relieved right now! I'm not morbidly obese, but for me, it's the fear of failure. So I do it, I lose the weight (which I've lost some of…

Still new to MFP- feel free to add…

You have to rest and ice. I'm in recovery from my second knee surgery. I agree with the IT band. Try foam rolling and stretching more. If it doesn't help within a week go to a doctor. Like he said it could be a MCL or it could be tendonitis. It'll be good to know what's wrong so you can deal with it and prevent it in the…

Hi Everyone, I'm Pamela, I'm an LSW working in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. I graduated with my MSW from Rutgers in 2012. I'm 5'4 and about 191.8 lbs right now. Down from 200, but up from 186. So I'm back to MFP, looking for REAL support, not the guilt trip I got the last time (from people I know in real life) so…

Hi! My name is Pamela, I just re-joined MFP after a bad few weeks. I am 24 and have been plateued for a few months now (hey- no gain is good news, right?) I start physical therapy on Friday for a knee injury, and I may have to get surgery in a few weeks if PT doesn't work. This is really bothering me since I can't run…
