Hi! I'm 5'6'' and 150lbs is my goal. I'm 18 pounds away and have never weighed so little in my adult life. I just want my BMI to be in the 'normal' range. It seems totally doable based on the fluff still around my middle. After getting to goal, I will maintain and then reevaluate if I want to lose more.

I'd say no, since I can rarely eat just one bowl of cereal, usually it turns into 1/2 the box... And if I have one serving, around 3/4 cup, i'm starving a hour later.

i was creeping up on 200 again. I freaked... I also was training to PR a 1/2 marathon in August 2015 and realized that I was just too heavy, it hurt too much to run. i'm 5'6'', 185 and comfortably fit in my size 12 jeans.

I decided to quit drinking for my health and to support my boyfriend's efforts to quit. June 8th was my 1st day without. Saying "no, I quit drinking for a while" has been really easy and no one has pressured me to have a drink. One month in and I'm feeling very empowered :)

I just started Ideal Protein, day 2. Looking for added support. So far, I'm loving the program, the accountability is so important for me to be successful.

I tried the wraps and some of their supplements, I wasn't impressed and cancelled after 3 or 4 months.

People who take shopping carts out into the parking lot of the grocery stores/Walmart and then refuse to walk 10 more feet to put them away properly in the cart coral. I irrationally HATE lazy people. And fingernail biters... omg, don't get me started.

When cravings happen, have some fruit, it's good sugar. And very few people would binge on a dozen apples... where as I'm guilty of eating a 1/2 pan of brownies, no problem.

It does matter where your Calories come from. 100 Calories from an apple and a dozen baby carrots is going to have much more nutrients then a 100 Calorie pack of Oreo bites, way more filling, and won't leave you wanting more. The micro-nutrients matter, too.

Eating a lot of fruits and veggies will definitely fill you up and keep you from eating junk food. You can eat a hell of a lot of veggies and hardly get any calories, which is awesome. I'm not ready to let go of the crutch of logging everything. I'm hoping to be to that point in a few months. Good Luck to you!

Really?!?!??? Some people need to just enjoy the fact that they are getting laid, and not worry about the calorie burn. OMG. Wearing a strap around your chest is so sexy... LOL. Just a little longer, honey, haven't burned enough calories yet...

Commando all the way... anything else causes chafing. Body Glide does do wonders for long workouts. Besides, who wants panty lines showing while working out?

The heart rate monitor should be the most accurate, so don't even bother with all the other measurements. All the counting does make me crazy and I plan to stop after August 17th, running a 1/2 marathon that day.

Chris and Heidi Powell also have an app that you can download, and it gives you suggestions on what to eat on the different days, takes all the guess work out of it. I really like it. There's also a short motivational video to watch that comes every morning. It's called Vemma Bode.

Bagels make me gain faster than any other food. I avoid them and will pick a doughnut first. Depends on your goals, bagels are just not a very healthful option IMO, so I'd recommend more variety.

I don't run out of Calories. Some days, I just have more Calories. The number of Calories per day is a suggestion, and if you are making healthy choices, eat more. Especially, if you are getting angry or irritable. You want to find a plan that works long term, a plan that you plan to stick with a while.

I'm starving when I get up in the morning. I don't know how you guys do it, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Like with most things, you have to do what is right for you.

I love eggs! Blood work was done just today, it's great. Must be do to all the eggs I've been consuming! Fried in a dab of coconut oil... yummy! and rolled up with a high fiber tortilla.

I love my food scale and obsessively weigh everything. I prefer it over measuring cups, really. It's the right weigh (haha) for me. I'm kinda crazy like that, and I don't mind :drinker:

As one of the bigger girls at my gym, I just got over it after realizing that I needed to be there more than any of the skinny girls. There I am able to spend time and make friends with people that I want to become more like, with fitness being in the forefront. Months later, there are new girls joining that are larger…
