  • Congrats, you're off to a good start. I eat alot of wings from the appetizer menu!
  • I have the same problem. Cheese crisps, cream cheese, cheese melted on dinner..lol it helps up the calories. I love that I can eat cheese on lchf.
  • Honestly, I hate chemicals, I'd just use a teeny amt. of sugar, or nothing. I tried bulletproof coffee and was nauseated all morning. I tried with butter alone and had the same effect. Maybe it takes baby steps. For now I'll slather celery with cream cheese.
  • Lol, this american life , car talk, wait wait, science friday, radiolab...not about diets but excellent brain food for my curious brain.
  • Ive got to try the skillet pizza, sounds great! I had a cheat day yesterday, preplanned at least. My 13 yr old was in a chili chowder cookoff and i look forward to it. I didn't have soda (my number 1 carb addiction ) or the yummy breads. Afterwards my daughter got a whoopie pie and I made her share it with her brother, but…
  • I don't think I'd use the word lean in my body mass- ha ha, but I will look up the shake. Thanks
  • I like snacking on celery and guacamole or cream cheese, or spinach artichoke dip...that and a huge breakfast keeps me full. Any sugar or sweetners make me ravenous, wean off of those!
  • Thanks!
  • Ive never made a protein shake, Ill have to look up recipes. If they have sweetners I'll be ravenous all day. I like yogurt with nuts, thats a good idea, thanks.
  • I forgot to mention that to keep my cravings away, I stopped eating any sugar or sweetners. I do eat fruit for a natural sweetness.
  • I love variety and eating out too. I am doing great keeping my carbs under 100, I'm averaging 60-70. There are a lot of free kindle books for keto, paleo, and low carb that I find on a low carb zen facebook group. They also share recipes with pictures that look so yummy I have to try them. As for eating out, I was…
  • I'm 2 weeks along with you, down 5 real lbs (and 3 extra ones that crept up on me during a week of eating everything). I felt good on paleo, but like cheese, so I'm trying low carb-but no sweetners/sugar at all. I walk past sweets like an uncaring zombie. Lol. I so get an empty feeling in my gut, sometimes 20 min after a…
  • It looks good with all of that avacado!
  • I have menstrual migraines, and was having other migraines 2-3 times a month as well. I discovered a few months ago that rice and rice flour are wicked triggers Since weeding that out of my diet, I only have them once a month. My sis in law uses a progesterone cream a day or two before her expected "time" and hers have…
  • I'm doing low carb, so I think Ill focus on turkey, gravy and green beans. Then a teaspoon of everything else. My fav is stuffing, I will probably splurge a little on that.
  • It looks like a good plan, can't wait to hear how you do. Good luck!
  • I'm 5ft and crept up to 158 over the past few years. My goal is 135 for now, but I keep losing motivation. I'm trying a low carb diet this time to stop cravings (my downfall ). After weaning off of soda over a week I restarted the diet Sunday. No cravings so far, but I have to keep low carb or paleo snacks nearby because…
  • I saw something in a magazine about the abdominal muscles separating during pregnancy in some women causing a potbelly of sorts. That can be fixed through surgery only-ask your doctor at your next visit.
  • I feel you all I'm 5 ft and just crept up to 158lbs. I did weight watchers years ago to get to 135, whats working for you successful girls?
  • I'm 39 and 5' 1", I was a happy 119 in college, 123 when I met my husband, and 130 when I got married. After staying home with the kids I grew to 165 and lost 30 with WW. Now I've crept back up to 154 and discovered MFP and making my way back down. I'd be happy to be 130 right now and will work lower if I'm successful.
