  • It actually isn't filled with toxins. Read the ingredients.
  • Wow...I'm shocked. I too have a hard time staying at 1200 calories. I tried that TDEE calculator people were talking about and it had me at a little over 2,000 calories a day! So even if I cut it by 20% for weight loss, that still leaves me at about 1600 calories a day! That makes me feel so much better! I was down on…
  • Isagenix - delicious and can be used with shakes alone or as a complete cleansing and nutritional system.
  • If you hate it...don't do it. Find something else that you enjoy! Coming from experience, running isn't actually that great for your body. It puts a lot of impact on your muscles and the more you run, the smarter your body becomes at storing the fat so that it has energy for long runs. I trained for a half marathon and…
  • I'd suggest truvia or stevia other than the other artificial sweetners... a lot of research done lately on the dangers of them....if you're going to use half and half....go organic!
  • Thanks I've gone to VA Runners where they take you outside and do the running test :) I'll try some different socks though!
  • Oh yeah as far as foot wear goes I've gone to a running store and have had my gait checked and am currently wearing saucony kinvara - a light weight training shoe.
  • You can get PB2 at Whole Foods :) At least here in Charlottesville, VA!
  • Soda does not hydrate!!!!! It is awful for you...especially diet soda which is full of artificial sweetners that can potentially cause a lot of damage to your body and neurological system...do some research and you'll be amazed at what you find out! I would have no doubt that that is what is causing those issues for you.
  • I prefer a nutritional cleansing and meal replacement called Isagenix. It is so much easier to incorporate into your "real" life. You replace two meals a day and then eat a healthy 400 - 600 calorie meal until you have reached your goal and then they have a maitenance plan where you replace one meal a day. The shakes…
  • I use a meal replacement shake called Isagenix. It keeps me full for about 4 hours.
  • I used to eat Lean Cuisines every night for dinner for years. I never lost a pound. I agree - they have basically no nutritional value and you are much better off creating your own meals. I turned to Isagenix, which is a meal replacement shake. It keeps me full much longer and is full of all the nutrition that you need.…
  • I am a huge fan of Isagenix. It is a meal replacement shake full of all of the nutrients and protein you would need after your workout. They even have extra whey protein you can add to your shake to help restore your muscles after your workout. It is very easy to digest and won't leave you feeling full before bed. Feel…
  • This may seem pretty basic but have you tried any yoga? GREAT stretches for hips!
  • Get up at 5:30. Breakfast at 7:00 Snack (piece of fruit) at 10:30 Lunch at 12:45 Dinner at 7:00
  • I think you are confused...you don't have to burn every single calorie that you eat. Your goal without exercise is 1280 so you always want to eat that many calories, regardless of how much you exercise. The calories that you burn during exercise are optional ones that you can eat. Most people burn btwn 300 - 600 calories a…
  • I use Isagenix. It can serve as a meal replacement for people looking to lose weight as well as a recovery drink for athletes. The benefit to this compared to the other drinks listed, is that it is an overall program that includes a cleansing component that rids your body of toxins that cause you to gain weight. You can…
  • I would like to measure distance in miles. I'm working on saving up for one, so I'm willing to spend whatever in order to get quality. I don't want to waste my money on one that is junk :) THanks for your help!
  • What a great message....thanks for taking the time to share it! Very inspiring!
  • I always exceed my sugar...just stay away from the artificial ones...as long as the sugar is natural you're good!
  • I'm 5' 1" and I felt pretty good around 118 with a lot of muscle. I think around 113 for me would be the ultimate lowest...
  • Definitely go for whichever has less sugar...which ultimately turns to fat in the run. Also stay away from the artificial sweetners in the fat free stuff because it is toxic!
  • Unfortunately I think for the majority of the population we have to see this as a lifestyle change and not as a diet. Yes, you will have to work at it for the rest of your life. Will you have to count calories and exercise and obsess on a daily basis, probably not. Once you've got the tools and you know what works for you,…
  • Check the nutrition facts before you go out to eat that way you can plan ahead. Add exercise on the days you know you're going to eat out, that way you have more calories. Most of the time salads have just as many calories as other items on the menu. When you get the meal, split in half right away and only eat half.
  • Check your sugar...you may be eating a lower amount of calories but food filled with sugar, which still turns to fat. Try eating organic. A lot of processed food can not be digested by your body, therefore causing you to stay the same weight, if not gain.
