I know I have posted on this thread before but have now lost weight and setting a new goal. 5' 4" - 48 years old SW - 144lb CW - 132lb GW - 130lb or less
-
I do think it goes in cycles. I myself would eat a bit more and maybe change my fast day until it passes.
-
You can adjust macros to suit yourself unless you have a certain goal? Well done on steps - I'm aiming for 10,000 steps a day with Fitbit but get nowhere near that many calories.

Like this.

Hi. New to group. Just reading all the great quotes. This one makes me smile, care of the film 'Galaxy Quest' (Tim Allen) ...... "Never give up - never surrender!" ☺

I used to put dizziness down to other things but now realise it's usually once a month, so much that I have had to come home from work and lie down. This month I had severe back ache - not sure if this is a symptom too? Going to book MOT at doctors!

Hi. New to group. Interesting reading. I'm 46, get extremely heavy periods, dizziness and an occasional night sweat. Cannot seem to lose weight and feel a bit distracted/lack of concentration. Think it's about time I went for a check up!
-
The same here. I've probably lost and gained 10lb overall but it has been a loss 1 or 2lb, then gained back a bit more, did it again so actually staying the same weight!
-
I am the same and have been told to get thyroid checked. Don't want to blame age (46) but might be a factor too.

Hi. I'm the same! 145lb at Christmas and now around 140-141 for weeks. I did see 139lb one week but not for a while. Would love to be below 140lb. Eating loads of veg, fruit, yoghurts, protein and aiming for 10,000 steps a day with my Fitbit. Very slow weight loss but getting there.

Well done. I think I get obsessed weighing and scanning everything! Have counted calories only a few days this week just to see how many just in case. I have actually been below calorie goal but never felt hungry.

Hi. Would you believe it, didn't count calories all week, ate well with couple of treats - lost one pound! On exactly 10 stone. Next weigh in tomorrow. . Oh!
-
Well done everyone on inspiring and amazing weight loss achievements. I'm 5' 4" and have been stuck at 141 lbs for months but feel I should be lower! Any tips appreciated. :)

Plateau for quite sometime. :/ Scales used accurately for everything this week. Thought average calories were less than 1500, so just shows how the food scales have helped with inconsistencies. This week actually shows an average of 1636 calories for the week and I lost all of 1/4lb though usually STS!?! Should I now aim…

Oh what are they like! My mum pokes my stomach and says 'oh you haven't lost weight then' but then says you don't want to lose too much?!
-
Hi. I've tried 5:2 on occasions though need to be in the right frame of mind! Now have a few 500 calorie menus I like and makes me appreciate my evening meal or looking forward to the following 'normal' day. Must try this again! :)
-
May have to try this! :)

Jillian Michaels suggests spreading out calories over the week with low days and a high day so at the end of the week your calorie total is still the same for the whole. :o

Hi. I'm 5' 4" and have been stuck at 141 lbs for weeks - would be great to be in 130 lbs. Have a Fitbit and average burn 1800. Glad I read this thread - think I my weekends undo my good work!
-
Great info - my scales are well used!
-
Amazing - well done. :)
-
Everyday at the moment but record my weight on Fridays.
-
At 5' 4" would love to lose 10lb but cannot seem to get below 140lb. I seem to lose a pound then gain 2lb. Walk a lot and just started to walk/jog outside as well as treadmill/gym. Got a bit of a battle with my weight at the moment!
-
Think I have found my maintenance is 1750 calories - going to try to eat less! Tried 1200 for 4 days didn't lose anything. Now going for somewhere in the middle. :)

Hi Age 46 5' 4 HW 147 LW 129 (only for a week!) CW 141 GW 138 (1st goal but would like to go lower)

Hi. New to group. Less to lose but struggling with the same half a stone! Fitbit user as well. :)

Hi. Lost 5lb since Christmas, so that is on average 1lb a month .. ahh! However find I am actually losing and gaining the same few pounds for ages before a proper pound is gone. Would ideally like to lose 7-10lbs - any ideas whats going on? Calories 1200 - 1800 but consistently on lower side.
