Yummm - I used to do this too. Nothing like chocolate chip cookies and cheese. My son was recently introduced to honey milk and it is a favourite treat. And yes - treat - I don't believe Milk has anything beneficial to offer besides its taste.

I am currently working through the program from the book 'the new rules of lifting for women' and it is fantastic. Before this I did stronglifts 5 x 5 and really noticed an improvement from that as well. I do think this book is a better bet though as it is a 6 month progressive program.

I don't understand why everyone is laughing at Science? This is amazing, and totally not surprising that there is info out there that goes against what we believe. Look at history - that happens all the time - the world being flat is a huge example. Why would we be so arrogant as to think we know it all already?

^^This. You need to change your eating habits. No way you can sustain this level of exercise for the rest of your life so even if you are able to lose it all - it'll all come back one day. I say eat more veggies. Lots more. It'll fill you up and not leave as much room for the higher calorie stuff.

Wow - Great article. I've been taking Omega 3's for a while now and actually have both my kids on the berry flavoured ones that she mentions. Same as her daughter they actually ask for them each day. Well, the older one does while the youngest just points and jump up and down in excitement. :-)
