Yup. Just spent an entire month outta the saddle. I am not a health guru dr or anything else so take this as my two cents. From what I have read, 1 pound of fat is roughly 3500 cal. Overeating by 500 for 5 days =2500 extra cals. Most of your 4lbs is most likely water weight. Especially if your extra was high sodium. And…

Shoot, smelling them would just be cruel and unusual punishment! I would end up tryin to eat the computer screen! I would definitely find a way to fit them in the day (even if i had to stay up half the night exercising my extra cals off) but i know i wouldnt stop with just 1 serving. Cinnamon stuff is an addiction for my…

I am also slightly lopsided. Im not a dr or fitness guru or anything else so this is just my opinions based on some things i have noticed. Most people are more right or left side dominate. I am right side dominate. My first step to go somewhere is normally with my right foot. When reaching i reach with my right hand…

Forgot to say that it is recommended no smoking caffeine or exercising (or labor intense activities) for 2 hrs after

I just treat it as a normal day. Drink extra water and eat a little more protein than normal. Where i go, if your protein levels are too low they wont accept it . Take a book to read...your first time can take a while

Dang. I reckon i'm an odd ball. While dating my now husband, i worked a full time job. I would get home before he would and start dinner. I knew what time he would be home so i had a hot bath drawn with a towel and clean clothes folded neatly on the bathrom counter for him. When he came in the door, i would take his belt…

Hey mokey (and others) i appreciate the quick responses. Like i said i felt like i was in between the two levels. I guess i should elaborate on my job some too. I walk, bend, lift, sweep, pick up toys a trillion time a day and climb but as before mainly walk. I work at a cracker barrel in the gift shop. I have used mfp…

Forgot to mention yes i will be tracking every little nibble i take as well. I dont want any hidden calories holding me back (like forgetting to release the e-brake on your truck before shifting into first and wondering "what the heck?!?")

It *could* be that you are building muscle which requires more protein. I have seen folks doing a ratio of 40carbs/40protein/20 fat. Def read up on it. Be careful with the jerky....its often high sodium unless you make your own

Let me first say i am not a science/health guru type person. This is an in my case kind of deal. I have a similar issue. I do ok in the morning and lunch and i will eat a mid afternoon snack but after thats its a "Nom nom nom give me mooooore foooood!! Nom nom nom!" Soooo to keep my "monster" in check i have upped my…

Be proud of yourself girlie!! Some ideas for homemade weights: cans of food, jugs of water or laundry detergent, even sand/dirt/rock filled bottles or jugs ( just make sure you know what they weigh....too much too fast is not a good thing)
