Hi :-) I'm 32 in Land O Lakes. I'm also married, but have two kids that keep life very busy! Feel free to friend me if you want

I'm in Land O Lakes. Unfortunately my life doesn't give me any free time to meet up for workouts

Hi :) I'm 32 and have 70 lbs as my initial weight loss goal. I had good results using this before, but lost all motivation when I had my second child.
-
That would definitely be discouraging, but try to focus on how much better you feel over what the scale says :) Stick with it! You're doing a great job so far :)

A little update from me: tonight I was able to wear a pair on non-maternity prepegnancy size jeans for the first time. They were a tad snug around the waistline, but I could still easily button them straight from the dryer. Feels good!

I'm really very glad to know I'm not the only one! We can do this ladies! A lot of strong mamas here :) (I did have two different people think I was pregnant last week. I've lost a little over 10 lbs now, so I think my face and arms look a little thinner but that belly is still there. Ugh!)

You can do it!

Welcome to MFP! There are a lot of moms here, and it's a great place to get support and encouragement. My son is 9 months old, and it's tough! I can only find the time to exercise after he goes to bed, and it being "too late" was always my excuse before. Now I just combine using the elliptical at my house with the hour I…

Welcome!

I sent you a friend request :) I have a lot to lose too!!

Coming out is so hard! LOL I've been there, although I still can't bring myself to tell anyone in real life what my number is. Telling online people was hard enough for me! (I'm 220)

Last time I went I got salad stuff. But also some fresh fruit. Stuff to make wraps (chicken and fat free cheese), some sugar free jello and pudding for treats, and then cereal. I'm not a super healthy person, so if I replace one meal that would've been fast food with cereal I think I'm doing pretty well :) For dinner we…

I also have better luck logging it as I eat it. That way nothing I pop in my mouth gets overlooked. :)

You don't have to eat back the exercise calories, but you should try and get fairly close to the daily allowance. Not eating enough calories can set you back in the long run.
-
Welcome! I know you can lose that weight of you stick with it, and having MFP friends is great motivation :)
-
Love it!

You're in a good place here. MFP is a great support community. We can do it together! Sending friend request :)
-
I'm in the Tampa area too! :) sent you a friend request

Same here!

I've only been using those "extra" calories if needed. Um, like the other day, I worked out specifically so I could eat a Snickers bar that I otherwise wouldn't have had the calories for. I figure it's ok because before MFP I would've not exercised and eaten the Snickers anyway.

So glad I'm not the only one! Everyone said to me, "It took nine months to get there so you have to give yourself nine months to get back." That nine months has come and gone now. My belly is disgusting. Luckily at least no one has asked me when I'm due... Yet!

Compliment her pretty eyes :)

You've already lost 21 lbs and that's a great start! The hardest part for me is coming to the realization of just how unhealthy I was eating. I would have a 1300 calorie lunch and not even know it!
-
Good job on deciding to be more healthy! I'm like you except I'm 30 :)

I understand about posting current pictures. I'm always impressed by the people that aren't embarrassed to show their whole bodies, but that just isn't me. The way I feel about my weight is very personal, and it was a seriously huge thing for me to post my stats on the 'find your twin' board. I think your ideal weight is…

The hardest thing with getting back is not beating yourself up for gaining again. Isn't it crazy how we are our own worst enemies sometimes? Good job on losing again!
-
I'm new here too, but loving it so far!

Great job Joe! 30 lbs is amazing!! I gave up fries for Lent this year... It was harder than I thought it would be, but I made it the 40 days :)
-
Snacks are always a problem for me too!
