I'm going to start measuring inches. It seems like some of my clothes is fitting better than before but measuring inches would confirm that. Thank you for the suggestion!

I think I'm going to start doing once a week. The scale is driving me insane but I also am not the type of person who can just stop weighing myself completely. Thanks for your advice!

Yes, I've been weighing and logging everything I eat! Hopefully it's just some water retention. You don't think it could be from muscle at this point?

Yes, I weigh in the morning before eating anything every 3-4 days. I do measure and weigh my food using a scale or measuring cups. And I definitely agree, I wish I had taken measurements before starting the program but it's hard to not get discouraged from the scale.

I know they wouldn't burn the same amount of calories in the same amount of time--I'm saying if you spend half an hour burning 300 calories on the elliptical at a constant rate vs. 20 minutes of a HIIT workout that also ends up burning 300 calories, are those workouts equally as effective? Part of the plan is to exercise 40-50 minutes 6 days a week and yes, I've been sticking to that! And no, I usually don't put any dressing at all and if I do, I measure it. I wonder if all the random bites of food are adding up but even so, I'm eating at no more than 1200 net a day so I really don't know how much it could…

Okay that sounds like a good plan, I was considering a metabolic reset approach but that seems too extreme for me. Unfortunately I'm currently on a binge streak right now :/

thanks for this- wish I had read this site before I had started calorie counting. :/ stupid of me to reduce to such low cals but I was younger and didn't understand all this.
