When I first started the shred I just did that. I did level 1 for about 3 weeks and after I started lvl 2 I added in an hour cardio 3 days a week. Shred sure did give me the endurance to do more! Great dvd!

I was wondering how i was going to work this in too. So I decided to take a break from my other dvds and do this one 6 days a week and do extra cardio at the gym 3 or 4 days.

Ripped in 30 is harder then Shred, I have to say i am glad i did shred first. I never thought I could do push ups or hold a plank for 30 seconds with ease. you probably wont even need shred if you keep doing ripped in 30 imo.

I just drink 12 cups of water a day and watch my sodium. No bloat!

I did 3 weeks straight of lvl 1 and then 10 day of lvl 2 and 10 days of lvl 3 without taking a day off. You will get better. Make sure you are wearing your shoes! I just finished my 2nd round of all 3 lvl's great workout and I do extra cardio too.

Welcome! i have also been losing baby weight. I tried it on my own and couldnt get past a point and then gained it back 9think it was my diet) But since joining this site I have lost 19 pounds! You can do it!!! I am also looking to lose little more past my baby weight!

Salad? I always have a salad 1 meal a day so if I go out for lunch then i have a salad for dinner with dressing on the side.

Great dvd! I only do it 1 day a week since its killer. She has a strength training that goes sorta along with it called no more trouble zones which I also do 1 day a week. I use a heart rate monitor and glad I bought one just because of the strength training! I burned more calories then I thought. I just never thought about how your heart rate spikes.

Have you looked at some of the Boca, morning star and Kashi brand stuff? High protein and fiber and natural. also do you like salmon?

What a doctor will tell you is you dont need more then 1500mg of sodium a day.

Get him to workout this weekend. I find I have WAY more energy everyday from eating healthy and exercising just about everyday.

I know you said you dont want a jillian or bob workout but Jillian Michael 'Banish Fat Boost Metabolism' is just cardio and it BURNS calories! 50 minutes and I weight 138 and today I burned 463 calories.

I put mine at light activity. I have a soon to be 1 year old. and I do alot of sitting on the floor playing but I am up and down the stairs alot and walking back and forth from the kitchen with him. I put light active and I am a stay at home mom. I figure the all the cleaning and playing with my son is light activity. I don't log anything but exercise.
